I've watched all your videos as I've got into cat fishing last year! You both have taught me a lot and I wanna go to a few fisheries you go too I live in Halifax which is a trek from these places. Also the video your in with Carl and Alex I recognised you and brilliant video. Hope you bring more car videos out soon lads.

Great video! I fish for catfish in the US using carp fishing style gear. We don't have Wels cats but we do have some other big cats. Most catfish anglers here use boats to catch catfish but I like bank fishing with my carp gear. Anyway I hope to see some more catfishing videos 👍

@@f1sh3rman yes we have channel cat but our two largest catfish species are blue catfish that looks similar to a channel cat but can grow to over 100+ lbs and our flathead catfish look similar to the wels catfish and grow up to 100+ lbs.

Great video's, keep them coming, im going to fish a lake not far from my house which holds cats upto 60lb so far I've had two kittens of about 15lb, so I hope to get into the twenty pound fish,😀

Its bloody muddy at the mo there we just got back and we had 15 cat to 47lb most of them come to 3ft zigs.

Lots of casting around to find them. Theyll typically ball up together so if you find them you’re laughing

@@f1sh3rman yeah phone would work, have it charging from a power bank at same time why not. There some good gopro style cameras out there to for like £50 quid. Could be worth a look :) Bought one me self, plan to lower it in the margin one day and still a rod on it. See what I can catch on film haha

Yes mate, 01375 670742. It’s £10 per rod per 12 hours so if you do a 24 hour with 3 rods it’ll be roughly £60 dont quote me on that though!

@@f1sh3rman when fishing well that lake can produce stupid numbers of fish, I fished those pegs last June on the bar. Me and my pal had 47 fish in 48hrs. All on "zigs" 28mm yellow flouro halibut pop ups tipped with worms on a 3.5t kevlar hooklink. Was over 100 fish out from our group of 6 anglers.

I just use standard coated braid hair rigs size 6 hooks length rig just 5 to 6 inches like fishing for carp, You don't need the technical rigs just keep it simple worked for me for years had cats to nearly 60lb loads of them
