Dang nice one man! Definitely gonna hear those engines hollering! A few months back they used to stack up our empty coal trains, sometimes they run 2x2x2x2, it was something crazy like that. These days all the loads and empties run 2x0x2, im going to Austell Sunday so hopefully I’ll see some coals!

I miss when coal trains used to run through my town of La Plata Maryland but the Morgantown power plant closed in June of 2022 now we only have a weekly rock runner

Epic catches! Even here in NE those mega coals are hard to find! We just got 10” of snow that was added to our last 7” and trains got delayed and some were rerouted. Now we are having beautiful -24 to -40 feels like weather! Perfect for railfanning if I can even get out of the house lol

Nah they got so little traffic to actually bring to Superior that it'd be 1 train every 2 months 😂
