Why do we always got to accept people commentating that don't know anything about skating? There's hundreds of cool ex pro skaters out there. It's honestly disrespectful to skating and is giving these young kids a warped view of what skateboarding is all about.

Nyjah's run was much faster, he hit bigger obstacles, and he fit more tricks in that flowed around the park more. Gustavo did have really good tech tricks though. I think the judges reward the higher danger factor in Nyjahs run.

Honestly couldnt agree more. Who are these judges ? Have they ever ridden a skateboard ? Do they know how hard it is nollie flip out of a crooked grind on a 9 stair handrail ? Like, how hard could it be to judge skateboarding ? Seems like any skateboarder could do it fairly easily.

What makes Braden so pleasing to watch? SPEED which gives the impression of powerful and the speed translates to more tricks, and he rides the board and links tricks more. So many others do 1 trick, then walk up the next ramp, turn around and do 1 trick. Watching most of them it's like watching a best trick with a few tries in 1 go. How can you call it a "line run" if they're only doing 1 trick and not linking any?

Braden only did 8 tricks while Gustavo did 9 and 5 of those nine are way harder to do then Bradens tricks.

I agree. Stepping off of the board, should lose points for that. Reward for staying on and flowing it all together. They also need to make sure courses are set up more easily for that.

Nyjah Houston just surprises me every single time. I grew up watching that guy. From him being a teen till now. He still incredibly young and still incredibly talented. Time flies but to see that he’s still in his prime, time is still here.. I haven’t kept up with these in years so it’s good to watch again lol I feel like a kid💫

gustavo spent too much time on the smaller obstacles. the crowd and i were hyped to see him explode with those tech tricks, but unfortunately the judges want to gnar AND tech. i agree he was underscored and possibly beat braden's initial score, but not braden's next upgraded run. shoulda been nyjah 95, braden 93 and gustavo 91. so i think it actually turned out okay...

Jahncarlos and Gustavo were both brutally underscored. Look, I know what people are going to say about Gustavo and his predictable runs, but at the end of the day: the judges need to score a run for the tricks that are in it, NOT if they can predict it. Otherwise, you can start saying the same thing about Dawshawn's Lazerflips and Front 270 lips or Yuto's Nollie Front/Back 270 lips or Vincent's Kickflip Front Lips and Switch Back Nose Grinds or Nyjahs Switch/Nollie Heelflips. Every single big skater has their predeictable tricks that they do every contest, so if all the other skaters get judged for the tricks they do and not if you can predict that they'll do them, then he shouldn't be in the 80s while Crook Nollie Flipping out on a 10 stair hand rail mid run.

Nyjah Huston pulling off a 92.33 run after how bad that first run was, just shows why he's one of the best street skaters of all time, some say _the_ best. He's no Rodney Mullen or Geoff Rowley but he is certainly up there.
