After seeing G3 Abbey and Venus,I can say that Catty got the middle child treatment...

Catty seems better then when we first saw her. I think the puffed sleeve needs to be longer and maybe some type of bracelets, the arms feel a little to bare. The outfit feels very underwhelming compared to other basic’s in my opinion. I do like how we have some braids in the hair. Also I now understand why all the Monster Fest dolls have a side glance, they’re trying to find where the hell Drac got that fit. Also where did the green come from?! I will say she looks better behind the counter. I also wanted to add some pictures are still coming out. We have Cleo with her vanity now. We’re all getting treated for Valentine’s Day 🤗🤗

I don’t understand why they have to make the dolls look so trash just because they come with a play-set. I feel like they would sell a lot more sets if the dolls were actually given some money and effort put into them😂

For a split second, I thought Monster Fest Draculaura was a Skulltimate Secrets doll.

I feel like Shadow High Shanelle Onyx leather vest with the mesh sleeves would look good on her, will definitely try it out once I get her

It really feels like this Draculaura was handed off to a different designer at Mattel (or maybe even an intern). It becomes even more obvious when looking at the whole roster side-by-side. Unfortunate, but at least her hair and makeup are decent... Just not 60-dollars-decent.

I feel like if they were consistent in adding details in the shoes a lot of the dolls outfits would look better. I’m tired of having one color shoes like just give them some painted details to have them stand out.

The jacket Catty had on her og concept art was one of the Barbie Extra jackets. It complimented the design so well so I'm surprised it wasn't used.

I like the changes to Catty’s dress, although I agree that the bow jacket needs to go. Plus, the pink boots look clunky. I would have chosen either the silver shattered mirror boots that the G1 doll had, or given her some cute heels. I think Catty’s outfit design caused most of the negative reactions when she was revealed. Our poor girl just got stuck with an outfit that would be unflattering on most dolls. I’m also sad about Draculara’s monsterfest doll. I know she is a play set doll, but everyone has been raving so much about the other designs that it really sticks out that our vamp girl got handed the short straw this time. I’m especially disappointed in her flower crown. The sculpt looks beautiful, but it looks almost plain next to the painted details of the other crowns.

Wow - They did Draculaura wrong! This morning, I actually spent time detailing how bad she was compared to the other dolls in the line. I like the play set a lot, but I don't know if I am willing to give up shelf space for it. I do want the other 4 dolls though. I like Catty better than the prototype pictures and her face is super cute. I will probably buy 2 and maybe customize one of them. I would love to make her better clothes. I hope cosmomoore puts out patterns for her

I think dracus outfit could be saved if it had another skirt or something. Or if it was darker or in general the skirt needed more drama. The pattern is kinda boring too. Decent doll though, her face and hair are cute and her bow top is really nice, the cowboy boots are cool to me.

As a huge Draculaura stan, I have no plans to buy this new doll. She's kinda boring and the playset isn't interesting enough to make up for the downgrade

If I had her I'll probably repaint her flower crown and boots. Give her an apron with ruffles or jagged edges that doubles as a capelet (short cape). Either in black or white with pink hearts and bat wings. Would craft her accessories in her musician form and giver mesh black tights.

I think Catty is very cute, but I still think her outfit doesn't do her justice. It could have been so beautiful and over the top; but oh well. As to Draculaura, I still love her even with the toned down outfit, and she is my favorite character. All respect to those who don't like her, but why does everyone always ditz her? I don't ditz Frankie or Lagoona, etc. They are just dolls, and we all have a right to like what, and who we like. To me we should all just try to be happy that there is such a wide variety of characters for each of us to love. All the dolls are cute in their own way, and it's just so wonderful to even have a line like this for those of us who love spooky things :)

Honestly Draculaura has potential if the outfit was redesigned..the make up & hair is kind of giving Scarily Ever After..

Its not just the coat + umbre dress being made pink that ruined cattys look but so is the belt-the belt was black with silver details and it was such good contrast compared to all pink w tiny bit of silver Im honestly so upset at how much of a downgrade cattys outfit is… she feels really blend now Same w monster fest draculaura , the concept art’s outfit was honestly really cute then we got..this

Like playset dolls usually don’t look so bad. The fact that she has a worser design than extra stock deluxe set mh dolls that have been released in g3 fascinates me. Draculaura looks HORRIBLE I am sorry what is she wearing. Literally Barbie fashionistas of 2021 wouldn’t even put smth like that on. I can’t help but think about that Mattel mentioned they would cut costs this year… anytime I look at this Draculaura that statement pops up in my head
