Monster Hunter Stories Remastered
Playthrough | Part 7: Escape the Darj Snowfields
Time for us to finally escape the Darj Snowfields.
We do some grinding and getting some new Monsties for the purpose of Channeling genes. But of course we head for the Wintertide Tunnel. As we do, Aviana and her Barioth are more than happy to help us keep going. Eventually we confront the Khezu. That Khezu was responsible for giving Aviana hell so let's fix that.
Khezu likes to use Electric attacks. It's weak to Fire attacks so if you have a Monstie that can use Fire based attacks, you should be alright. Just watch out for when he charges up. He delivers a nasty amount of thunder so be very wary. Of course if you plan accordingly, you'll do fine.
With the Khezu down, it's time to press on. We're heading to a new place in Part 8.

If we hit our Like Goal, I'll upload the next part. Don't expect this to be up every day. I want to see if you guys want more. Besides, I have a lot to do and I want to grow this channel. I want to reach 45K and beyond. Gonna do more Monster Hunter Stories today. My laptop is doing fine and yeah, I've been assured by a few people that it should be alright. But I will be having my doubts. Why? Because you never know. I will be checking on a day-to-day basis. Don't get me wrong. The laptop is doing fine but you never know what can happen. I am outright serious. I'm still raising funds for an HP Omen and I'm hoping that my goal can be reached. That's what I hope fo. That's what I want but with how things are, I massively doubt it. But you never know right? Let's just get on with Part 7 of #MHSRemastered! To those who have been seeing these, you have my thanks. One piece of advice for the next area... Do not attack the sleeping dragon (Pink Rathian) on the road to Gildegaran. You are not ready for it yet! I forgot this and got my ass whooped. Additional General Tips: 1. Equipment Quests for better weapons and armor will open up soon. Kill tons of monsters to get materials! You also need Zenny. 2. Grinding options, which you may be doing already: Either keep hitting monster dens, or go to the message board at Gildegaran and retake quests you have already completed, as well as take the new ones. I always hatched my new monsters, and added them to my party, so they get the experience. 3. Reccomended monster: I heavily reccomend the Red Khezu. Its electric attacks are devastating and it eventually gets an attack that hits multiple foes. It's powerful enough to last you through 2 or 3 more areas of the game, and mine had a gigantic amount of HP, at more than 300. Their eggs are only in the Gold Dens. A Red Khezu may also spawn outside. Throw a Paintball at it, and read its entry in The Monsterpedia and hope for the best. If it retreats, it'll lead you to a nest that contains Red Khezu eggs. Sorry for all this, if you want me to shut up, just let me know.

Red Khezu hits all enemies in its Kinship Attack, not as a main attack, but it is still a good monster.
