Man I miss this era so much, i find it really hard to even watch monster jam on tv these days. It seriously feels like they’ve turned it into more of a cartoon than a Motorsport

I remember getting the World Finals 11 DVD during the event at Moline… I still have it to this very day…

I'd like to point out that Damon Bradshaw who was the reigning freestyle champ put on an amazing show I think he was the only one to put on a full run as the reigning Champion so that always stood out to me

This was the first world finals I watch and every single detail is still engrained in my head to this day. Easily my favourite of all time.

For my money, World Finals 1-9 are still the gold standard for excellence in MJWF. WF 10 was where it started declining in quality, though not absolutely terrible. Where it really went off the rails was at WF 15 where they completely eliminated the very thing that monster trucks are built to do: crush cars. After that, it just never got as good. The backflip is completely overused and, as fun as Lee O'Donnell's front flip was...it just wasn't the same.

World Finals 11 still speaks to Scott Douglas as one of the greatest moments in the history of the sport when for the only time ever when Dennis Anderson and Tom Meents met in the final race. He actually just stopped talking for a minute live and just saw the electricity light up.

I was there at 9 years old. I still remembered it vivitly, I remember Monster Mutt's big air and everyone including me at that stadium went nuts! Despite all the breakdowns and early ending runs I agree that its one of the best World Finals ever.

This was my first world finals I ever attended! My dad packed up my 2 brothers and I in our ford focus and drove over 1000+ miles without stopping from Oklahoma. One of my most cherished memories growing up walking through the stands and seeing the field all lit up and the sheer size of everything. TV just simply doesn’t do an event like this justice.

I think that Nashville had the most underrated one, here are my reasons. One: high jump was the best of any high jump competition so far. Two:two wheel skills became so much more unpredictable because of the mud. Three:racing was one of the best ever. Four:freestyle was not the best but still had some amazing moments that I think people overlook

For me it's hard to put this as one of the best world finals. Half the trucks filled the clock in freestyle because of a truck eating track. That being said, the racing was fantastic, Charlie's run was amazing and the encore was pretty good. There was so much potential for this to be an awesome world finals only for the track to take out the trucks.

I was there, and it will always hold a special spot in my heart, I still have a shirt from the show

Honestly I'm very happy I got to attend this world finals live and it was the best weekend ever apart from when I got Tom meents's helmet in 2012

First World Finals I ever went to, and was great to witness a Grave Digger/Max-D finals, well, at the World Finals

WF 11 was indeed very underrated, one hell of a final race, the worlds biggest air done at the World Finals, and one badass lineup. If i had anything to complain, it would be Digger's and Taz's short runs. Absolute blasphemy that Taz's final WF would be tainted with such a crappy run.

World finals 11 racing was like world finals 15 freestyle. Also world finals 16 is my favorite

This World Finals event was underrated? I was there with my dad and it was a blast! Grave Digger won racing and Monster Mutt had a great championship freestyle run. Too bad King Krunch and El Toro Loco could not be repaired in time for freestyle.

I think the best part of WF 11 was the Encore, plus the introduction of new trucks. The style of the jumps like the Double were unlike any other. The future World Finals track styles can't beat the OGs.

Sounds weird but this was the first world finals i followed start to finish since just the week prior we got Wi-Fi at the house so I was on it constantly just watching and getting updates on it.

Yea this was definitely one of my favorites,also stadium love how big it was the ramps crushing cars, they'd race into the stadium!now in days it's pretty simple and kinda boring!

I think it's very easy to look at World Finals 11 on the surface-level and say it was a great show - the track, the lineup, the racing bracket and final race, and the encore concept on-paper should put it on top. But when you actually dissect it, this World Finals honestly is upper mid-pack at absolute best. Racing was entertaining because of the crashes and championship race, but it didn't have the consistent photo finishes seen in like WF16-19, not to mention it taking 2 people out of the Freestyle competition entirely. Freestyle itself was a disaster: only 4 people filled the clock (Balhan, Pauken, Sims, and Soza), and as mentioned earlier 2 trucks entirely didn't Freestyle at all. It actually has one of the lowest average amount of time filled per run at just under 68 seconds, meaning on average the entire field barely filled over half of their run. In fact, the only World Finals with lower averages for time-filled were World Finals 5 and 6, both of which are frankly towards the bottom of the World Finals totem pole. And as mentioned before, the concept of the encore was incredible and something I wish they would have stuck with, but if you really watch the encore the only highlight you can really pull from it is the Digger portion of the encore, and at that just the final collision jump. Krmel, Dawn, and to an extent Duhon had decent runs but nothing worth writing home about. All said, I think it's a very memorable and iconic World Finals, but it deserves no place among the likes of World Finals 18, 9, 17, 7, 13, or even 12.

ive said it for awhile that this is the best world finals ever held, it had the best blend of truck killer and excitement, the racing was just, perfect, not to mention ill always say that Charlie's run is the greatest world finals run ever. Theres a reason that jump is my computer background screen. Its legendary.

An otherwise great event that was dampened by a bad freestyle. My favorite WF is 2013.

I really don’t like 18. The famous runs are famous due to a gimmick, not momentum or overall performance. 7 is my favorite because of good racing and both Tom and Dennis doing well in freestyle along with everyone else. 11 is second for me. Some don’t like the track, but I feel it really let people shine if they could survive it. The only thing that bumps it below 7 for me is Dennis breaking early. I don’t really like 9, as controversial that is. I’m not entirely sure why, it just don’t work for me.

Monster Jam has died after 2012, it’s quite literally the most unpopular Motorsport I ever seen. Growing up Monster Jam was my favorite thing in the world now it’s just backflip, backflip, and the scoring is dog shit
