Funny thing. I use to have all 3 of these AND the Biollante set! Biollante could be attached to a stump thing (similar to Mechagodzilla's hanger) so I guess she was intended to be immobile in that set. The Godzilla head was also Black instead of Green, most likely to symbolize that it was "Supercharged Godzilla" instead of normal Godzilla. Sadly, I lost all the pieces to it though...

Goji73 Suppose I’ll tell you what I thought of when I first saw these... aside from “wow, I gotta get me one of those!” The head sculpt of these kinda reminds me of Shin Godzilla. It’s thin, the eyes are pretty small in relation to the rest of the head, and the teeth are pretty big. It’s such a strange design...

Oh my god! My brothers and I had some of these as kids. We had the Mecha-King Ghidorah set, the MechaGodzilla head set, and the one Godzilla head set with Biollante. That was my first time ever having seen or heard of Biollante, I wouldn't see the movie for years or maybe even a decade later. So cool.

Yes we're planning on making a Project Mechagodzilla video after "City on the Edge of Battle" releases. Kiryu remake has no set date as of now.

I had a similar set, accept it was Star Wars. It was shaped as a Bobba Fett head, and a Chewbaca head. I had tons of fun with those little characters. There were so many gimmicks hidden in those heads!

Had all three. Loved them as a kid, all of the problems with them and all. I would have killed for the series 2 sets though. I didn't even know they exist. Fun fact, that hole in Rodan's back for the zip-line was just big enough for a 1/4th inch nail to fit though and stay securely stuck in. As a dumb ass kid, I use to throw him like that at my dart board. He was surprisingly aerodynamic. Same thing (sort of) for the rocket launcher in the LA set, but the head of the nail got stuck in it. It looked cool, but obviously didn't fire. For that, I used toothpicks... until I shot one out of the little rocket launcher, the toothpick got lost, and then my friend stepped on it.

I actually own the LA set and San Francisco set from wave one, I bought them brand new from eBay. Also one day I came across in a flea market with the mecha Godzilla set and the Space Godzilla set! How ever the Mecha Godzilla one didn’t had any of it s pieces, but it came with a strange oversized green spacegodzilla figure and the biollante figure, the space Godzilla set had most of the pieces missing except the bog kristal from the center and the actual space Godzilla figure. I bought them cause you don’t see them everyday

I was in Toys are us, and grabbed my oldest Son in 1997 when he was 5..hes 27 now , my youngest son just turned 13, and he has what was left, the head.. I was telling him him how cool the small Godzilla was... I cannot remember if it came with Rodan or Mecha G.. I would love to filing one, can't wait to show him this vid.. Appreciate it

I swear I had that tiny Godzilla figure when I was around 4 or 5. When I saw it in another review a while back nostalga instantly hit me and it triggered a faint memory. I have no memory of anything else in this set though.

I use to have some of those toys, I loved them. Even when I lost all the inside parts and figures, I still played with the head.(I was a poor child who used my imagination) You sir are lucky to have them, I can't find any in my price range but I would still totally open them too.
