It was an outrage that there was no Max D 20th Anniversary Encore.

I’d say the dirt crew should’ve had won a championship too. They did an amazing job repairing the the track from the night before when it was trenched in rain AND after the crazy thunderstorm the day of the World Finals. Hats off to the Dirt Crew!!!!!

The monster jam product is becoming so diluted. Ditch all other championships and focus just on racing and freestyle. And get rid of fan judging. So tired of trucks being forced to shut off as soon as time is up for people to vote. So lame.

I got vip meet and greets handed to me so I asked tom about it. Needles to say he was not happy about it. Also other drivers told me feld is trying to get rid of encores entirely and the only way to stop it is with fans voicing their opinion.

I was part of the RC event going on in the pit party after the storm. We were told that the only items in the pit party that were open was us and the ride trucks. So for that gap between high jump and skills we had hundreds of fans around the track. They told us to put on whatever show we could and we did the best we could with a soaked track.

Weston anderson really needs to get on a stadium tour next year.

You know what, I’m started to feel grateful for Tom Meents. Why? Because he’s still got 14 World Overall titles. And those have become apart of his 20-year legacy of Maximum Destruction! no matter if he wins or not, He’s still my champion in my heart with those 14 world titles too! And as for the ThunderRoarus jump, I’m very amazed and feeling grateful for the return of Colton Ike, Son of Tom Meents… despite the Max-D 20th Anniversary not having an encore, I felt very grateful and proud for Tom Meents for having such a legacy.

This in my opinion is ( as of now ) one of the most underrated world finals

I think the weather and track conditions played a role in us not having a 20th anniversary Max-D encore, but yes I definitely would have liked to see at least an encore of some sort from the Max-D team to celebrate 20 years

As someone who actually went in person, it was pretty good, although I do certainly have some critiques. For one, there should have been a 20th anniversary encore for Max-D. It doesn't make any sense for the second most iconic driver and truck in all of Monster Jam history to not get a encore. Secondly, if they're going to keep doing the High Jump and Skills competitions at the world finals, then it can't be just one day. Because it doesn't give enough time for the drivers competing in those competitions to meet the fans. I remember my mom and I waiting to get Tom Meents's autograph, only to have the line rushed because he had to get ready for skills. If they're going to keep the finals on one day, either have the pit party start earlier, or get rid of skills and high jump. Lastly, they need to host the event in drier cites. The rain certainly played a part in the show. It was why skills was so underwhelming. They need to host in some west coast, drier cites, or have it in a dome. I've been to the last two world finals, and I found the rain delays irritating. Despite all of that, I think, given the conditions, the drivers put on the best show they could, and I left Nissan Stadium satisfied. Rant over lol

I am not impressed with the RII. They are terrible, they shut off trucks to just pick up body pieces? They need to just let them run. I also don’t like the one day thing. They try to squeeze everything in one day. Luckily next year is in Sofi Stadium. The thing is that Nashville was shady, but CA will be even shadier. I happy that Tyler Minniga got a World Champion, but am not as happy that Jon Zimmer Jr was only in one event, and came second. I wanted there to be a Max-D encore, but I reckon that they will do it in the All Star Monster truck challenge.

This was a crazy World Finals. Another rain delay before showtime just like last year. Of all the times Monster Jam chooses a World Finals date, it’s always raining. At least Sofi Stadium in Inglewood near LA has a roof over it.

This was my first time to Nashville that I planned around this event, an event I’ve always wanted to go to since I was like 5 and now 26. You described it perfectly as not the best and not the worst. I said it all night it cannot be one night show. Racing was great, I do miss the Vegas style. But freestyle I feel the track wasn’t the same, it was run down from racing and I miss the old jumps like concrete, campers, busses etc, with all the paint. Still finally able to go it was fun glad I missed the high jump and skills.

This world finals was something else. I've never been a fan of TWS or High jump. I actually enjoyed racing. Freestyle. It was a great show. It upset me so much. Cole should have had that. Colt had a good run. I'd still take many others over his. Get rid of fan judging. Get actually professional judges. Get people like Dennis Anderson and Scott Douglas. Maybe bring in someone else. Actually have criteria for these judges. Out of 10 for skill. Out of 10 for use of track. Out of 10 for use of clock. Out of 5 for craziness. Out of 5 for tricks. Them having no encore for max d was horrible. I thought the grave digger encore from last year was bad. What the heck? What happened the the 5 or 6 grave digger and max d trucks flying around crashing into each other. Idk what's going on with monster jam. But if it keeps going like this it's not going to be great for them

Agreed ! Max D celebrated his 10 Anniversary with a Big Bang! I was shocked and Disappointed we didn’t get to see anything, especially with that split body design we got at the Pit Party

This even more like an old world finals because they did the entire event in one day there was the elevated start and the triple bus stack

I have a question why was Alan Pizo behind the trolley face? And inflatable thunderRoarus skull since they didn’t use it for the world finals could probably be used and someother event.

But we can tell how important tom meents is in our hearts hes the king, legend, master of destruction even with no encore

Hopefully they go back to a two day event next year, where qualifying and racing can be on the first day and then skills and freestyle on the second. It was a very lackluster event imo

Love the High jump I did That in my RC Monster Truck sires form 1988 to 2001 really put the frame and axles and two link bars to the Taste broken a lot of two link and for link bars and a few Axles and a large amount of Shocks long jump did little dammeig so far now on a break for the last 21years but Lord willing will be back soon with Stronger Faster and better RC Trucks plus return of some of my old favorites this only helps me to real lies how much I miss RC rasing and going to Monster Jam hope to start doing this this year see you at the Finish line 🏁🏁🏁

The high jump, Ryan and Cynthia looked exactly the same. Honestly the 4 digits of #.### gets boring. Like can’t they crown 2 winners like 2006?

Having been there in person, it was a really good world finals. The weather was miserable from the heat to the lightning but once the rain moved out, it was perfect. High jump was solid for the conditions they had to run in and skills was pretty disappointing but there were still good runs. Racing stole the show in my opinion, honestly anyone from the semi's deserved to win it even with Vinson replacing Gordon. And I definitely didnt have Adam or Ryan going out second round in my cards. Freestyle was really solid. From Leduc's crazy backflip to Gordon destroying his truck, it was a very entertaining night overall

I got to say as someone who has spent the last 3 years saving up and deciding when to go to my 2nd world finals I am deeply dissatisfied with the outcome of this event they could have at least gave each driver the 2nd round of skills challenge like was planned instead of taking one away to compensate

I honestly thought this was an amazing world finals. The only competition that was a letdown was skills but honestly, given the weather I dont know what else they could have done. Freestyle was a blast and I feel like judging was mostly fair on all parts. (At the very least I think colt’s run was the deserving winner for freestyle-as good as cole and todd were.) overall as an event the lack of an encore for max d and the extremely poor skills championship really hurt it, but I still had an absolute blast.

Jump was impressive but with him being so far to the right did he get world record having all 4 tires clearing, he did not

The fan vote playing such a huge part of the freestyle score was largely disappointing as I feel they wrongfully propelled the wrong drivers x

They robbed Zimmer on the skills competition. The scoring from the fans even showed it since he's basically an unknown to the MJ industry.

I will say like last years finals people in the next year will say that this years world finals was actually pretty good despite two wheel sucking, but yeah people hated last year until now they realize oh it was one of the best, same goes for this one they hate it now but then later in the future they will say oh it’s pretty good

While it's likely the show was entertaining to watch on screen, it was a terrible experience in person. The lack of any adjustment to the weather or communication of what was happening by Monster Jam officials was what made it so frustrating. There were multiple windows of clear weather when they could have run events, but they chose to hold fans hostage without anyone knowing what was happening. They could have had the competition - OR they could have postponed it. Either way, they wouldn't decide or let anyone know so everyone was stuck in the stadium. While it was supposed to be a two part day, no one could leave due to potentially missing an event that could happen at anytime or worse, may not even be let back in. There was no where to go for respite from the heat, rain, lightning, and very little vendors were open. They ran out of water before noon in 100+ degree weather. People were throwing up, passing out, heat stroking, medics were not around. No one working there had any information & if they did it contradicted what other employees would say. Most of the drivers in competition were not available for autographs at all or if they were is was less than one hour with long lines which they left before you could get there. While I'm sure it was fine to watch on a device, it was awful to experience to attend. The lack of organization or adjustment to the weather ruined what was a once in a lifetime chance to go to the world finals for our family. It will be a long time before we consider spending that much money on anything related to monster jam again. I think we all feel like Bryce Kenny after going to this.

Two wheel skills and high jump is the dumbest thing I've ever seen from Monster Jam

I didn’t realize so many people didn’t like this year’s world finals. I loved it. I mean yes the weather delays were annoying, but I actually liked the inclusion of the rain. It gave the drivers an interesting challenge. I also like it when the winner is someone that hasn’t won in a competition, like Lee O’Donnell, Linsey Reed and Mike Vaters II

While the world finals on the whole was just ok (with a god awful skills contest in there) Seeing Tyler and Tristen and Colt get world championships just felt right :)

You know, for how hype this year was supposed to be, I have to be disappointed. Credit to all the drivers for trying the hardest I have ever seen all of them try ever. That was a tough one. Easily the toughest world finals I have ever seen in my life. Two wheel skills in the rain? That really screwed over the arena drivers who've never driven in the rain. One track for everything? Wasn't a whole point of this new era of world finals so they could do something new in creative? They couldn't have waited to do it today in the dry? Like last year? Racing in the rain that's fair everyone's got a fair shot. High jump in the rain that's fair everyone's got a fair shot. Freestyle and two wheel skills in the wet? It really put a lot of the drivers at a disadvantage. But how convenient that the new truck with Colt Steven's driving wins freestyle. And he happens to get the highest judges score. Not dissing Colt Stevens as a driver he's a very good driver, but I don't think it was the best run of the night. For how epic last year was, I was really hoping for more, a lot of trucks broke because of the conditions and got shut down early. And it was really set up for the stadium drivers and it wasn't fair for the arena drivers. I have to give credit to the most underrated driver of the night and that's Jon Zimmer. He tried his absolute hardest against the absolute best in the absolute worst conditions. Respect to all the drivers on the highest level I have ever had and I don't like all of them. These guys fought hard last night. But I think the event organizer should've done a little bit more planning. I'm glad I didn't go because I feel like if I paid to go, I would have been very disappointed.

the world finals was kinda underwhelming and upsetting especially for freestyle as i saw posts about the freestyle winner 2 hours before i could watch it, which annoyed me mostly while watching leducs run

This world finals, to me, was horrible. No incredible saves like last year, no destruction except from Shaker, no skills runs that were very great, and some runs, like Krysten, had nothing at all. Only thing this world finals had going for it was momentum, but apart from that, it sucked. Worst of all, like everyone had been talking about, there was no Max-D XX encore! This is stupid! Also, Lil Zim deserved the win!

Worst World finals in history, 2 wheel skills 2 drivers did something, pit party was nothing it was a tent party, needs to be 2 days and no encore. 2024 is going to be the same shit show its all about the fans the drivers say or are paid to say, then make it 2 days, 2 encores. Most shutdowns in history, how many you guys count? I lost count at 25. 2 days makes less trucks break, or atleast they would have time to get it fixed or bring the back up set up
