Monstrilio is my favorite read of 2024 (I read it in January). I simply don’t see anything topping this by the end of the year. I still think about it all the time. I felt every emotion while reading this, reread so many beautiful passages, and found myself just pondering for a bit after reading parts of this gorgeous book. Simply stunning. Incredibly sad. Beautifully hopeful. Oh, I love this book! I am always so happy when people read and love this book.
