That cabin is going up by shear force of will, superior expertise, extraordinary co-operation and just plain hard work. A beautiful thing to behold in all respects!

I appreciate all the hard work it takes to build. My brother built his log home in Idaho when he had time. Family members and friends would come and help when they had off time. It took about 3 years, but it's still being used as a summer home for family and friends. That was about forty years ago. My oldest brother made all the wrought iron railings and bannisters for the outside. A lot of memories.

Nothing like having a cabin in a box instead of sourcing the logs and wood from your own property they should have a portable mill to cut there own framing lumber

I absolutely love it that you let your sons not only do some work so they can feel they are part of the success but you let them take some chances. Adrenalin is a good thing sometimes as long as we do not totally rely on it all the time. LET KIDS LIVE PEOPLE!! Not just live in a safety bubble.

It’s obvious you’ve never never seen anyone fall to their death. Im all for letting kids take chances but this isn’t them taking chances. Everything that could fail and kill them is outside their control. The operator, the crane, the strapping, and the rigging. It’s easy to take chances with someone else’s kids.

But you're making great family memories and one day you'll look back in the review mirror of life and see the amazing hand of God and what he did in and through each one of you. No regrets here!!! This is what beautiful Christian families✝️ are made of...love and blessings from your California sister!!! Ps. Loved the camera man 👨 "1st. log down,. 2nd log down." I truly love your channel but more than that, I love how you put God and family first! As you both know, the true wealth of a man lies in his relationship with God and Family. It’s obvious to me that you’ve established that relationship! I pray you will keep your eyes on God and He’ll always bless you. Priscilla, I would just like to take one moment and let you know how you bless me with the store of the young coupe down the street. The burden God put in your heart for those young neighbors is such a great testament of your love for God! Your silent gifts made our Lord say “well done my child well done”. In closing, I’d just like for you to know that was so special to me! May God bless you and your family always… Ray Mills

We just "discovered" your family KZfaq videos and are pretty much binge watching to catch up:). We truly enjoy watching your close knit family activities, travels, stories, etc. Really interesting watching your trip to Alaska and are eager to see the building of your home. In 1968, my family and (I was 18) drove the Al-Can Highway from northern California to Alaska. What an experience! It hadn't been paved yet, just gravel, dirt, and large potholes! We picked berries by the side of the road, camped every night in a tent, washed in the ice cold creeks, saw the wild animals, and had many fun experiences. Now, my husband and I are eager to travel that same road in our camper (glad that it is now paved). Keep up the good work, God bless you and your family in all you do! Bill and Bonnie from Georgia

When Joas was on that log and it sounded like it cracked and he was holding onto the tie down strap I jumped a mile high thinking he was going to get hurt. probably one of my favorite video of your Alaska build so far... it's the way you guys still have fun as a team while working. When you let the twins ride the log while being liften, it looks so fun and scary at the same time. Who needs theme parks when you have moments like that with your family? lol! Always appreciate the way you sincerely feel bad about the those beautiful trees but like you said "it is what it is". 😊

Just to let you know that I am rooting for all of you, that there aren’t too many more setbacks with you home build. I never realized that Alaska was prone to getting so much rain. As I was watching this video and seeing the water and mud and the ongoing challenges that this creates for you all, it felt like one of those “stop the madness” 😫moments. I know that there will be better days to come for you and I will definitely be praying for 🌞 in Alaska. Take care and God bless 😊
