Finally a video that shows the true skill level play of real 4.5 players. There are a lot of mediocre videos claiming 3.5, 4.0, + play on KZfaq.
@DaShap3 ай бұрын
Very true. I find NJ to have the most accurate depiction for a rating announced. I comment on this alot, being from NJ, especially when I see Florida videos boasting 5.0 Dupr play and they may not even win 4.0 tourneys in NJ.
@DaShap3 ай бұрын
I know these players. Zac is 5.1. This is the Open bracket. So many times Finals consistent of 4.75+ with guys usually having Dupr 4.9-5.2

I am a 4.0-4.5 player. I watched this video twice. This is high level of play. The girl on the pink team has a wicked two-handed powershot. Her partner is a banger who is the type I am use to playing, he over-poached on a shot in this match. The guy on the black team is FN awesome. He blocked a ATP shot and I like his style of play and his partner is also good. I really enjoyed this match, as it had some great shots, but the black team was dominate in their performance.

Everyone here is a 4.5 player. I am also 4.5 player. What you are watching is a tournament - no one is perfect during a tournament due to the increased level of stress. Most of these players are most likely ex tennis players. If you were to match up any of these players with 3.5 or 4.0 players during a rec game, those 3.5 or 4.0 players would simply get destroyed. If you want to understand the ratings, you can either look up the descriptions online or play with someone who is a former competitive tennis player.

I just watched another game 2 of the same teams playing. The speed and play is good. This is 4.5+. Those that say this is 3.5 because of unforced errors, those are not unforced. It is just good fast and athletic play that the younger group is playing.
@adamh79476 ай бұрын
Their shot selection is very questionable. If you understand shot selection, you can see that they are going for too much when it is not necessary, and this is indeed creating unforced errors. It is all ego. If they were to slow down and play the soft game to set up the hard game, one of these teams would crush the other without much effort.

Good game, I would come down on a good 4.5 level. The team in black does have better shots. She has a great cross court tight shot that has to be placed with less power. The guy on the pink team is a banger with some good low drives. They all have roll shots at the net.
