Monti's pick for a typical Jackie O' was spot on! I guess Hannah went in wanting something like that but realized that Monti's pick was so perfect that it almost looked like a costume. That's why in the end, Hanna went for dress that was pretty much Grace Kelly but without the sleeves...But kudos to Monti's pick!

Notice that Grace's gown had long sleeves, while Jackie's dress was more like a prom dress with no sleeves. This style became the standard. Jackie's wedding dress to Aristotle Onassis was designed by Valentino. It was short, white, simple, and very feminine. The bustier and the lace on the gown the bride selected echoed Grace's dress minus the sleeves.

What is it about this particular SYTTD team? Every one of their episodes carries with it a formula for negative drama - like they feed off that garbage. There's always one person in each of their episodes with narcissistic characteristics who thinks their opinion matters more than the bride's feeling about the dress she should wear in her own wedding. It's disturbing to the point of being sick. Even more so if the drama is deliberately scripted in.

Gorgeous wedding gown. Most "wedding" gowns on these shows do not look like wedding gowns at all. But, that's just me.

I am the eldest of 3 girls and went shopping for wedding dresses with my sisters. I would never force my opinions on my sisters. It is their day, not mine, how selfish and rude to do that to your sister. You are there to support her and encourage her. Do your dress on your day, not hers!! I will never understand behaviour like this!! Keep your rude opinions to yourself and just love your sister!

I could have told her not to bring her older sister. I had five, four when I married,only one of whom I would have wanted to help me choose my dress. They all live out-of-town, thank Heaven. I went by myself, and wish I had asked my mother to come. Certainly, sisters often are not your best friends. Too much bossy vs shy and scared.
