Monte Mezzocorona
The Monte Mezzocorona is a more popular destination. After the Covid19 2020 emergency, it is open at the following times: Monday - Friday 7: 30/12: 30 and 14: 30/19: 30; Saturdays and holidays 7: 30/20: 30; the current hourly flow is about 30 people in one hour *. This town is truly a paradise for families and will be increasingly so in the future thanks to the relaunch project undertaken by the Municipality of Mezzocorona.
In the next few years, a Tibetan bridge will be built , as well as the Trentino ropeway museum and a futuristic Skywalk (terrace suspended in the void) built near the top station of the cable car. Above a cliff.
But without having to look too much to the future, there are already many attractions that await us "on the mountain" and that certainly deserve a trip.
The cable car is really a surprise : small, 7 passengers maximum, in a beautiful yellow and green color that almost looks like a toy. As you go up the view is breathtaking: the whole Adige Valley in one go. Gorgeous. Once up there you can breathe another air. Very few houses and zero cars.
The ideal place if you don't have a specific destination or a planned idea on how to spend the day. There are many green meadows where you can relax for a picnic and stroll with the stroller and a small sheltered playground that will delight your children (pay attention to the Covid19 protocols for the use of games).
