He died 54 years ago today but has never been forgotten. He was such a talented and wonderful actor who was a joy to watch and still is! My favorites are THE SEARCH, RED RIVER, A PLACE IN THE SUN, WILD RIVER, SUDDENLY LAST SUMMER! RAINTREE COUNTY, TERMINAL STATION and I CONFESS. His place was brief and he made only 17 films, but oh what a place he had and the films speak for themselves. God Bless You Monty!!!!

Few young people know about him. But you are right in your comment. Fantastic actor of all time. He turns 100 this October, 17, 2020.

Yes, few younger people know of him, but with the revival of old movies, and with people staying home on weekends due to COVID, these great movies and actors are being rediscovered

Good compilation for Montgomery Clift, great actor and movies! I can’t get over how much pro-athlete/wrestler/actor Mac Daniels resembles Monty Clift! Both are from the NE USA too, I wonder if they’re related
