I meal planned, I'm really excited about it lol and I prepped some food. I share a simple pasta salad recipe with you and I prep some of my fruits and veggies! It's an all around good time! I hope you enjoy the Costco grocery haul! I went to Costco and didn't film a shop with me, but don't fret, that will be out maybe on Saturday! I plan to go back when the sales dates switch over! (which was yesterday) lol Always more to come!

When my daughter only had one son, and he was just two years old, they wrapped up two mangos individually, for Christmas! When he opened one, he screamed with delight and declared, "I GOT A MANGO!". When he opened the second one, he yelled out, "ANOTHER MANGO! I GOT ANOTHER MANGO!". He wanted to stop right there, and go eat Mango! I love how young children love everything they're given! .....then they grow up! LOL

My friends little girl turned 3. Didn't really need anymore toys so I got her 2 bags of grapes & a puzzle cause she does love puzzles but those grapes she was more excited about & wanted to stop opening up gifts to eat some grapes. Everyone thought I was nuts for buying them but understood when she opened it.

Miss Kim. Idea. For when guest ask for shorts to go into the lake. Instead of giving them your husbands shorts grab couple of cheap ones when you thrift shop! Then if someone needs some shorts you can give those out and won’t miss them if they don’t give or return them back.

Hi Kim! First of all, I wanted to tell you that I absolutely love your videos! I’m sure you hear that all the time, but I really do enjoy them. I love that you’re putting your recipes in a binder, there are so many good ones. I wanted to share with you what I did with my kids. Growing up I’ve always written down their favorite recipes in a notebook. When they got older and moved out I made them each their own recipe book with their favorite recipes in it, so that they could make them on their own. I could totally see you doing this with your kids too. They absolutely loved it and say that they use it all the time. Your cheerfulness is contagious, and I look forward to seeing your :-) on each video. You truly do put a little happy in my day every day. Thank you for that!

OMG I remember the days I fed all the kids in the neighborhood! I miss those day’s to be honest. Half the time they would eat bites and leave a mess. I know they watched the Schwan’s guy deliver and would come running for ice cream! It would last 1 day, but they all had favorite’s and fun!

Maybe during your goodwill trips you could look for random men’s shorts or swimming shorts. You could roll them up and store them in a basket. Then when someone needs swimming trunks you can bring them a pair and not care if they come back. Yes, another thing to store but then poor Alex wouldn’t keep needing new shorts and It would be less expensive.

I think that kitchen scale is one of the underappreciated 'gadgets' in the kitchen. I bought one 6 years ago and use it almost every single day. Best purchase ever.

Love a good crunchy grape!!! I just recently went back in old videos to find your banana bread recipe and made it into mini muffins for my kids to have for a quick breakfast as the run out the door for school. We all loved it so much my old recipe went in the trash!

I agree about the kiwis! I always see people on YT scooping their kiwi and it just looks like so much gets left behind. I much prefer slicing the fuzz off and then chopping them.

Hey Kim! Love your videos! Playing them while I do all the moms things makes me feel like we are just hanging out. Just FYI there are no such things as GMO lemons. There are only a few GMO food items. Corn, soybeans, wheat, rice papayas (if scientist didn't intervene they would be wiped out by insects) and apples are some of the most common. They might be super huge because there are awesome farmers and agronomist that know how to perfectly grow a humongous lemon. Any-who those lemons are huge and I love your vids!! Much love from Iowa!

Yukon gold potatoes make THE BEST mashed potatoes.. as long as u use a potato masher and not a hand mixer. Hand mixing will make the texture a little gluey. I only buy yellow gold potatoes cuz they're so versatile and cook up fast!

Because hand mixers whip some potatoes too fast, activating the starches to create that paste-like texture. I’m a fan of gently hand smashing any potato, I think it preserves the individual potato ‘cells’ and creates a better texture.

Crazy trick for kiwi I used for my daughter…use a hand mixer beater, push down in the center, twist it around and it will pop out with a few little sections. If you hold the kiwi snugly, you waste almost nothing!

Oh my gosh! My family is always asking me for my recipes & food ideas (what I eat). My husband & I are moving across the US next spring after he retires. For Christmas this year, I am putting together a recipe book & will get it properly printed, to gift for each household in my family. Healthy, delish, easy meals. I am also going to make a different recipe from my book for each family.

I usually always get at least three rotisserie chickens at Costco. Seriously the whole reason I have a membership I love their chicken. And the price tag.

They actually make no money off those chickens, it’s called a ‘loss leader’. You buy the chicken, but usually some other things as well. I love them too, so easy to shred and freeze, or just eat like that 😂 I’m pregnant and constantly craving shredded rotisserie chicken

Hey Kim. When you peel your kiwi. Just cut off each end and then slip a teaspoon between the skin and the fruit and spin it around. The fruit will pop right out of the skin with no wasted fruit. Then just cut it up. Best trick I ever learned. Glad to hear your feeling better.
