Necessity : luxury : investment. Rent. - 1500 Groceries. - 600 Mobile bills - 50 to 70 per month Transportation costs - 250 for one person. So around 500 if only public transportation. If car, add another 300- 400 Canadian dollars. Weekend get always - 300 dollars. Total necessities = 3000 dollars minimum. Luxury Rent - 1000 to 1500 Mobile plans - 70 to 80 Expensive cars - ( it’s all hype and traps as it leads to downpayments ) Second hand is better. Vacations and shopping is a luxury and don’t b lured into credit cards offering services for them. Investment. Study. That is an investment. To get a better job or for a business plan. Anything help your career. Saving for your own house. Very imp as you move. Tips -Use price match. Apps like flip. -Be a smart shopper. - if it’s a necessity. Do research online and find sales. - for those who want to be a uber driver. Save money on fuel by refuelling at night and getting some discounts for drivers etc. - different banks offer different deals on credits cards before you take them. Do not take too many credit cards. Do a little research.

I was 5 when we went to canada and when we came back I was 9, it was a huge struggle for my parents, my mom a Dr. And my dad an eng. Both were studying and had to take care of my brother and I. I don't remember much but I do remember those TTC wali train rides and subway k lambhay safaar to get home, it was hard but now living in Pakistan having a really comfortable life it made me wonder alot about the sacrifices. This channel shed lots of light on that stugle and made me alot more appreciative of my parents and for that Im truly very thankful. Hope you get to a million soon! Lots of love from Pakistan!!!!

Indeed.. as mentioned by many viewers this video has very straightforward tips for immigrants whether they are new or been here for while. Thanks and keep it up.👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻👌🏻 Also, to add furthermore for credit cards, avoid getting store offered credit cards as they’re not backed by banks in most cases and interest rates are not really negotiable or quite high with many hidden terms and conditions and if you’re are a family of 3 or more and have spending of at-least 500-700 on your groceries go for PC Financial Mastercard which is offered by CIBC a mainstream bank. it’ll give good amount of points on your Superstore spending either on groceries or on your gas purchases which can be a good saving as well.

Such as rent, security deposit, med insurance, presto cards etc. which we will have to spend from the savings/settlement funds.??? 2) Could you please make a list of all such initial expenses and share maybe in a video??? 3) what would be the best/cheapest accommodation options for a family??? 4) And by when will we start getting the child care benefit after landing in Canada (we have 2 beautiful daughters one is 8 yrs old and another 8 month)

There's lots of stages in life, accordingly one should plan or consult Financial advisor (CFAs,etc) for the better hassle free future.

Survival job means the person is earning around 2000 to 2500 CAD. Saving 500 out of this money is not bad. You are right. There is no growth in survival jobs so it’s better to try something which can give better opportunities in the future.
