Max Pacioretty has been in trade rumours for the few months now. But 2 days ago, in was announced that he won't resign with Montreal therefore a trade is coming for sure.
What type of return for Max Pacioretty should we expect?
What team would be interested in Max Pacioretty?

If these sources were true, I feel really bad for Patch. I'm for and against trading him. He is a great goal scorer for a team that lack scoring but he is not a captain or a leader and his production last season wasn't good. I would prefer striping the C away and either give it to Gallagher or have no captain for the rest of the season.He may need a new start but his trade value is pretty low especially if they want a 1st round pick. What do you think?

renegademan83 I think his trade value is better than we might think. If we dont trade him, I agree with you 100% let's remove the C from him and give it to Gally. He was the only working on this team last year

wait.....Marc Bergevin publicly said he wasn't resigning Pacioretty? anyone have a source for those exact words quoted by Bergevin? You're a habs fan no? You'd know the Habs never ever ever leak any internal player negotiations. This article came out at a horrible time and it probably just lowered his trade value.

He's gonna be traded, I hate to inform you, bud. I highly doubt he'll be sticking around. I don't really know where he'll end up, but I can tell you the Habs should get AT LEAST a 1st, a high level prospect, and 1-2 mid level prospects. Throw a 2nd in there if the receiving team really wants him. But with Beregvin in charge he'll trade him for Lee Stepniak and a bag of a dozen hockey pucks😅😅

Barney Blue yeah I like I said, that could play a role but we tought the same thing for Duchene and Sakic was able to get a very good return!

Good point, Duchene plays center though just sayin. That trade was awful for Senators. They should have just payed Turris what he was worth. I don't know how dorion still has a job.
