Stellaris The Machine Age gives us three new origins. In this video we will explore the Cybernetic Creed Origin that lets us play as spiritual cyborgs.

Strange. On the wiki, there's a mention of the United Creeds edict, which gives a flat +10% on cyborg jobs. Is this a mistake?

Worth noting that as of now pops will lose not only Ritualistic Implants if they ever leave the spiritualist faction, but all their cybernetic mods, making the species tab an honest to god hell.

I played a mega church with this and it was stupid fun. I’m halfway through the mid game and just pummeled the only alliance that was not my fan, so well over half the galaxy does business with me and I’m filthy rich.

I noticed Corporate actually *removes* the debuff to empire size from planets Corporate usually gets. Not THAT good because usually you don't have that many planets unless you spam habs but still.

I'm having trouble with this origin : a problem has arised where when all of the pops on a planet have the ritualistic implants trait, pop growth stops, I believe this is due to the fact that pops with this trait can't technically grow because it's a trait that's given to the pop once it has joined the spiritualist faction. Only way to counter this that I have found is to reduce spiritualist attraction (which is counterproductive, especially since I'm playing a megachurch) and to resettle pops that don't have the trait from one planet to another (which is a pain in the a** to do). Did anyone have the same problem and did you find any better solution to it?

A build idea I am working on with these is going dimensional worship since that will allow u to get both physics and engineering research from priests which when combined gives a gd amount of tech and unity allowing u to make a tech ECU using priests. It's definitely not the strongest but it's a interesting idea to play with I feel given how at level 10 leader level a priest will only have slightly less tech output then a scientist but unlike tech priest output has many buffs available

As a megacorp you also get a the option for the tithe of wealth for cybernetic fusion; you know, to better provide the sacred profit that comes from the most synergistic new sacred implants.

That was my original thought, but then I remembered the procedure to replace "just" half of their brains with a computer is considered extreme by most of them, so they'd probably generally prefer something more like cyberpunk's "full 'borgs", Adam Smasher bring an example

With this much creativity and interest in machines I really hope the start developing something for organic Hivemind. I won't hate on the Machine DLC its pretty expansive and fun and It made me get back into Stellaris for more than a quick run. Hivemind has been my favorite since I started playing and it feel like it hasn't gotten content dedicated to it for a while.

Pick a machine species portrait. Then go to ethics & civcs and don't choose gestalt, instead pick regular ethics. Hey presto you're an individualist machine!

I think, united creeds is best choice and you play this origin with megacorp. United creeds give you good edict and you can modify spefies as you want. While others lock you in predefined traits. Maybe science choice can rival that but im kinda doubt full. Creed Megacorp gov type on other hand, removes 50% penalty for sprawl from planets, giving megacorp effefts. I have feeling that since they nerfed pop growth for cybernetics, its more important to get more planets early for that pop growth speed. Guardian civic also seems not as strong with this one, because its harder to grow pops

My build so far has been fanatic spiritualist/authoritarian. Oligarchic government. Exalted priesthood and master crafters. You can rush unity and engineering research so easily with this build.

had a very weird game with this origin, foolishly took deviant on my pops and when the factions merged a materialist faction popped in with over 2/3s of my total population. I had a unity planet that couldn't work because only spiritualists can work temples. the debuffs to happiness and stability wrecked my economy, a gaia world revolted... it was fun

I've been having a weird problem when trying this origin with my modpack, I start the game, wait a few days to load everything correctly, and then check my ascension perks to see that "the flesh is weak" is completely absent from the menu. Does anyone know if it's a specific mod causing this issue?

So that only pops with part-machine brains can register and analyze the frame, while us mere bio-ascended peasants had to deal with the headache of pausing the video rapidly even on 0.25 speed? First thing I noticed with the origin as that it's starting economy blows. Really need to rush some districts asap for the 2 useless soldier jobs along side your first 2 pops(from growth and blocker).

Cybernetic Creed Megacorp is kinda busted. Since the government bonuses are all the same, Megacorp loses its +50% colony penalty. Also all dogmas have the option for +10% trade value as a Megacorp.

I tried Cybernetic Creed today and kept having problems where my pops wouldn't work the Haruspex jobs. I'd 4 unemployed pops and 4 Haruspex jobs open on my homeworld and even giving Haruspex jobs priority, they would not go into the jobs. Have you seen this behavior at all? I was playing Cybernetic Creed with Eager Explorers and Masterful Crafters, If I recall correctly.

I think assimilation broke my economy. Since pops who are being assimilated don’t produce output, I kept having all of my resources just massively fluctuate over and over.

Would that I could remove my weak, squishy organic optics for the mighty clarity of an augmentic eye, so I could read your borderline-subliminal single-frame sermons. As it stands, it took a lot of precision backtracking and playback speed slowdown. (Also your voice sounds funny at 0.25x speed lol)

As much as I love Stellaris, but they never get Comunism right. Is it too much to ask for a better understanding of it ? It's not hard. The only thing we have for now is Utopian Abundance. Worker output ? Specialists are workers as well... Just remove Rulers and give a boost of output to everyone else or smt (There's soooo much you can do) The only thing we get however is worker resource output...

Have every capital building give planetary build speed and more amenities. there's no government, so no elections and no Ruler. You can have it give +1 councelor efective skill, a flat boost to output on every planet (like 5% or smt, you don't need much). You can alternatively give different jobs for your pops to take. Faction unity gain is cool and all, but it really does'nt scale. Besides, you might wan't something else later in the game. Have a boost to your leaders, maybe have them gain addicional exp and -1 negative traits. Have leaders start at +1 level higher. Just some ideas on how to make it better (and make sence)

Communism is revolutionary by nature... How about you create revolutions in other empires so you can liberate them ? You can be kinda like the criminal sindicate, except you can spark outbreaks, send help with revolutions by sending resources (or just taking the revolutions by hand), sending armies, causing strikes until a crackdown happen and you take control of your opponents planets. You can have Infiltration be Key in your empire, and be able to syphon your opponents resources, steal their tech.

Stellaris as a role playing game generally tries to be rather general in descriptions and not dictate too much details, to allow players to fill in the blanks themselves. I think whilst they could provide some more traits in that direction, the current traits allow for well enough roleplaying.

Personally I'm not a fan of the Cybernetic Creed traits, as even after finishing the situation you can't change what traits said pops have. But I wonder: are the traits strong enough to make it worth losing the control over your pop traits?
