Fort Solis' worldbuilding isn't as interesting as it thinks it is. Its atmosphere is let down by its insistence that the player trudge through it, rather than eagerly explore. It's a 2 hour game that somehow manages to stretch its length out to 5 because of its painstaking slowness, and that slowness doesn't breed tension, it just breeds boredom.
And all of these problems are crystallised by the time its first ten minutes are up.
