@@jccf1963 it's pretty well known at this point. John has talked about it multiple times on his podcast. Some of the people involved with production for the latest album have mentioned how Chris waited until the last minute to turn in his vocals, which were pretty rushed as it were anyway. Eyal Levi who did the vocal production with Chris for the Amanuensis had spoken on his podcasts about how rough it was working with Chris. On the last tour with Chris in the band, a lot of audience members have talked about Chris being super distracted and unenergetic on stage, though I myself did not attend those shows and can't vouch for it personally, but it wouldn't surprise me.

@@ahriik It seems evident that Chris may have some mental health issues, and family issues, contributing to all of this. The concept, vocal melodies, and lyrical content on Amanuensis make it one of my favorite metal albums. He seems extremely fun live in most recorded shows, but seems he has ups and downs both in and out of studio. Hope the dude can get some stability in his life.

I'm from Connecticut where currents is from. I remember seeing them as a local band when they were nobody a million times. Back in the day they were all of more heavy. And their original vocalist was a beast. I preferred them back with him. Not the current guy. He had all of more energy and was wild live. That's what I prefer and that's just me tho.

But bruh... No matter what Chris is still the OG.. I love Andy and I agree with the fact that he is absolutely better than him in a lot of aspects but still we cant overlook the fact that we are all here discussing this topic because of Chris in the first place..

Probably does the same series of random noises everyone else does. Lips rolls, scales, breathing exercises. Another thing I do is sing an easy song entirely in chest voice to get everything nice and warm.
