Your guides are epic great work man, im allways about 2/2,5 seconds slower from your laps on every track its seems i need up some racing technique rather then i have problem with single tracks

Thank you! A lot of the time lost could be just in the way you come off the brakes and carry speed through a turn, that is probably the most important and also difficult part of the turn. Try drive behind fast drivers in practice sessions when you get the chance, you often naturally go faster like this. Back when I was younger racing karts, I'd always seems to just pick up pace when getting in behind the quick kids, it can be similar in sim-racing too.

yea.. that as well… but i find even, when i study lap times, i‘m losing SECONDS only by going too late on trottle on apex exit.. its unbelievable how fast you can lose times…

Monza has always been a favorite of mine. I main ACC but playing with higher downforce cars make me enjoy this track even more. Both the lesmos in particular are incredibly fun with the increased downforce. Great guide, thanks!

I agree! This track I find much more enjoyable with downforce, the mid-high speed turns are awesome

I’m curious, are you using ABS at all? I know it’s not something on the real GTE/LMH/LMP2 cars but I found I could not brake at all without completely locking up with it off. I’ve been watching your guides for some time now and can never brake as hard as you do with it off. These have been crucial to getting me started in sim racing, so big thanks and great video!

I'd suggest reducing the max pedal force in the car setup. This will reduce the max amount of potential brake force you have, experiment with this until you find a point where you're not locking up. Trail braking is also very important to avoid locking up, you can brake hard at first and then slowly reduce your brake input.

I'm on controller and about 2 secs slower,but this will help me massively 😊,also is it possible to do a braking technique video because there's no abs. Regardless,an awesome video ❤

This video of mine from a while back covers optimal braking quite well: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rMWRpcWhs72bgmw.htmlsi=qg3OxIYA8ZlE4Yti It's a bit more difficult for me to provide tips for controller users because I only drive on wheel/pedals. If you're locking up easily then I'd highly suggest to reduce the max pedal force in the car setup. Braking is also very much a feeling thing, so I adjust my braking inputs based on what I'm feeling through the steering wheels force feedback too. I personally find is quite impressive that you're 2 seconds off with the controller, I think it would be rather difficult to extract the max out of the car without the force feedback.

@@unleasheddrivers1281 best believe mate,I'll do my best to do 39s on the minimum when I get used to the braking and the braking points and I also have to fine tune my controller steering settings,which is very important to get the feeling right. You're video will help me get one step closer imo 🙏

@@unleasheddrivers1281 got down to 39.3,i need to see if i can get into 38s,but theres no way im gonna match the wheel guys on this game,on ACC it was somewhat doable,but not on this game,just simply not possible with the limitations. but thanks for the guide again,helped me massively. generally i dont need guide for lines or braking points in ACC for example,but when theres no ABS involved,its hard to find the limit and its much easier and faster to find out through videos like these. so thank you .

Do you use the TC on the LMP2? How is it? I’ve heard numerous drivers say that they avoid activating the TC on the Oreca IRL because it’s way too invasive on the throttle and bleeds way too much time
@unleasheddrivers1281
@unleasheddrivers1281 5 ай бұрын
I've always got it set to the default TC settings so its there, but I only really lean on it in turns where its hard to find traction. I can't say that it felt too invasive but I have been driving other cars since last driving this one so my memory isn't too fresh on it. I feel like in most cases in LMU it doesn't cost you too much by leaning on the TC, as long as you're not completely hammering the throttle while still in a lot of angle
