They are absolutely/definitely Golden Retrievers, one of the sweetest breeds. They are great family loving dogs that need lots of love.

re: China-- I'll believe that when I see it. So far all I've seen is the Chinese bitching that they won't import our cattle til we have universal premise ID and livestock RFID tagging. COOL was going to make that mandatory a few years back but thankfully it got done away with. We don't need no friggin' mandatory animal ID, and the idea that the Chinese demand it from US is frankly the stupidest thing I've ever heard... our herd is 10X healthier than the Chinese cattle industry, and if that's what they want, I say "SCREW THEM" we've gotten along just fine without exporting beef to them and it can stay that way as far as I'm concerned. Universal mandatory animal ID is just an added expense *for us* and just not worth the time and effort because it brings ZERO added value for the average cow/calf guy like us. Some folks like it, more power to them; if they can get a premium out of it-- great! The minute EVERYBODY is forced to adopt it, those premiums will disappear like snow in July... Later! OL J R :)

The wood inside I put down for when the waterer would overflow so I had a way to walk past it without stepping in deep mud. The wood outside is because the barn is gradually falling down.
