some basic patches & ideas on how to integrate DFAM into a modular system:
- Control DFAM with an external Sequencer
- Sync DFAM to an external Clock
- Control Noise Level with a Clock Division
- Modulate VCA Decay with an external LFO
- External Audio In from an external VCO & Pitch Out
- Control an additional external Synth with Trigger, Velocity and Pitch Outputs
- Send VCO´s into a Filter
- Quick creating semi-random Noises

hi there, isnt VCO CV2 only added to VCO CV1 if hard-sync is on, othwerwise they are independent?

no, hard-sync is off the whole time in the vid

Thanks for this informative video. The main question I have- Is it possible, besides using the EXT AUDIO IN on dfam, use the dfam as a sequencer of other oscillators as well as use the controls of the dfam envelopes to control the external oscillator that is patched to it. And if there is an external filter, is it possible to effectlvely "replace" the dfams filter with the external filter and still preserve the Dfam filter envelope settings? Bascially is the a way to replace Dfams oscillator and filter with an external oscillator and filter, yet preserve the Dfams pitch, sequence, and envelopes?

Sure you can control external voices, patch the Pitch Out into any VCO and the VCO into a VCA (and/or a Filter). Then VCA EG / VCF EG / VCO EG Outputs can control the VCA and/or Filter. (Trigger Output can also be used, best in combination with an Envelope/ADSR) You cannot override the internal Filter, but just let it completely open and use an external Filter on the Sum Output and control it with VCF EG Outout.
