We're thoroughly impressed with the rich classic Moog sound that the Matriarch brings! Here we had our first taste of the warm vintage burbly sounds and delays to swim away with! 😵

Finally! A video that actually shows the Matriarch doing what it was designed to do.

It shouldn’t e shoe horned into a certain design ascetic though. That implies to not as powerful S say euro rack/ which I think it exceeded already as a synth with modular super powers. Peace Christo 👽🐕🎶🛸

@GeoSynths Yes, you have the eye for this thing. Just waiting for you to pick one up. Unfort you'll have to release your patches on cardboard template sheets. :)

One of the better demo videos of this unit. Very nice playing and display of beautiful sounds. I just ordered my own one, partly off the back of this display : ) expect to hear it all over my new music once I take delivery. Thanks for sharing this. Much respect
It seems both this and Grandma are not that expensive for what they offer. Think of just what a delay stompbox of these characteristics costs... Plus the modular connections. You can make similar music with less expensive instruments but then the user experience might be a lot more tedious. You could pair up a Behringer Poly D with a good delay pedal and that would be about half the price but a general pain in the ass to operate and without connections.

@@nebula0697 Can you emulate this sound that way ? I have been thinking on Prologue 16 plus a good delay/reverb pedal such as bigsky but together will cost almost the same than this one

It’s worth it depending on how committed you are to learning it. It’s a lifetime synth IMO that nothing will ever sound like.

You are getting great sounds out of this ! Best I have heard I sold mine but revisiting I have one space open for it.....how is tuning across the oscillators ? mine was an early version and it had obvious issues tracking

Anyone ordering the new Moog Patch & Tweak book by Kim Bjorn? Forward by none other than Hans Zimmer. I've pre ordered. I'll pretend I own a Moog.

Great work! Thoughts of it against the Subsequent 37?

Descrai , ( most important) two more oscillators and patch points , cant beat that
@1zzCyFi4 жыл бұрын
MarkoDeLaVoota Technically 1 more oscillator if you count the sub on the sub 37
@stolencoats632 жыл бұрын
@@1zzCyFi still two as the matriarch actually has 5 oscillators.

How did you generate these sounds? Presets? Thanks in advance.

Really gives me that MGMT/Tame Impala from the mid 2000's feel.

Beats up Poly D all over the place . Try just try getting customer service from Behringer / Music Tribe .
@Jimbo3860003 жыл бұрын
Moog is way better, but I mean, there’s also a reason Poly D is less than half the price of this bad boy. It’s a run of the mill synth with a slight twist while this one has a whole slew of tricks up its sleeve with the modular patch points.
