If possible in one of your next videos I think it would be really cool and helpful for beginners or people that are highly considering diving into the synthesizer world if you could do the studio 3 bundle solo as in No Effects whatsoever just simply record the factory sounds. I personally think anybody that truly loves music and expanding their musical vision will absolutely love this bundle as a starter set.

Hi, that‘s indeed a very good idea and I was already considering doing that for some of the already published videos. Wouldn’t be too much effort, since I already have all the tracks recorded individually. So I just need to turn the processing tools/chains on and off, and re-record it… I might prepare such a video soon. Thanks for the hint!

This is my favorite of your pieces so far. It's...I dunno...intriguing (suspenseful?). I'm curious about how you're getting such clear stereo effect. Are you using multiple interface channels, or just using some EQ, panning, post-processing witchery?

I use a Scarlett 6i6, thus sending the three modules to three different tracks in Ableton. There, I use panning, auto-panning and stereo effects, and lots of eq-ing for a transparent mix. Sometimes also a bit of channel compression, when the dfam gets too dynamic😉

Hey I have a serious question that I've been asking other semi-modular enthusiasts on KZfaq and Facebook. So after a 3-year hiatus I recently bought the Moog Sound Studio 3 bundle as well as the minibrute2s and back then I wasn't considered an expert but I knew enough to use these machines at least properly and sync them together. I'm going to be starting a Facebook group specifically for semi modular synthesizers but I was also wondering would it be okay if I comment and ask you questions when I need help and advice on something specific? I thought it would be cool to start a Facebook group with other semi-modular users. Obviously I need to reread the directions and manual and heavily practice but I could definitely use advice from an expert. I'm absolutely in love with semi-modular synthesizers and next year I plan on getting my first eurorack setup. I subscribed to you as well because I absolutely love this and it will definitely be helpful for current and future use

Hi! Sounds like a good idea to create a group for such an exchange. However, I‘m not on facebook (anymore) and only rarely on instagram. KZfaq is currently the only channel that I‘m regularly using. Thanks a lot! The DFAM Tempo is controlled via the SEQ1 of the SUB, the DFAM Run/Stop is controlled via the M32 LFO SQ and the DFAM Trigger by the M32 Assign Output set to Random. Further, I bring the M32 VCF to the DFAM Ext Audio. Finally, the DFAM signal goes through a delay to create a single echo. That combination creates this intriguing long moments of nothing, followed by random, intense bursts. The full patch sheet is linked in the description below. Cheers!.
