About Radish Curry
The most commonly eaten portion is the napiform or fusiform taproot, although the entire plant is edible and the tops can be used as a leaf vegetable. The seed can also be sprouted and eaten raw in a similar way to a mung bean.
Radishes are mostly used in salads, but also appear in many European dishes.[29] In Mexican cuisine, sliced radishes are used in combination with shredded lettuce as garnish for traditional dishes such as tostadas, sopes, enchiladas and Posole stew.[citation needed]
Radish greens are edible and nutritious, and can be prepared in a variety of ways. The leaves are sometimes used in recipes, like potato soup or as a sauteed curry side dish. They are also found blended with fruit juices in some recipes.
In Indian cuisine the seed pods are called "moongra" or "mogri" and can be used in many dishes

Hey, Scrapped/Grated coconut can stay well in the refrigerator for a week or in a deep-freezer for a month in an ice cream box or a steel container with a lid.

Mooli Patte ki Sabzi, also known as Radish Leaves Curry, is a delicious and healthy side dish that is typically served with roti or chapati. Here is a simple recipe you can follow to make the dish at home: Ingredients: 1 bunch of radish leaves (mooli patte), washed and chopped 1 small onion, finely chopped 2 cloves of garlic, minced 1 green chili, chopped 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder Salt to taste 1 teaspoon oil Instructions: Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Add cumin seeds, when they start to crackle, add onion, garlic, and green chili. Fry for 2-3 minutes until the onion turns golden brown. Add the chopped radish leaves and stir well. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder and salt. Stir well. Cover the pan with a lid and cook for 2-3 minutes until the leaves are wilted. Remove the lid and cook for 2-3 more minutes or until the leaves are cooked through. Serve hot with roti or chapati. You can make some modifications to this recipe to your liking, you can add some more spices or even some tomatoes to make it more flavorful. Some people also use mustard oil instead of vegetable oil, as it gives a nice pungent flavor to the dish. This dish is nutritious and healthy, it's a great way to use the radish leaves which are rich in Vitamin C and other nutrients that are good for the body.

What a timing for this video. Yesterday I harvested lots of radish with bunches of leaves from my garden. I had to get them out rather prematurely as compound painting work is going on and didn’t want the paint dropping on the leaves. So it looks like a week of radish dishes on the menu. Last night made a simple salad with moolangi leaves as we call in Kannada, with onion, tomato and cucumber. Today made radish Sambar and for night radish leaf chutney which by the way was very very tasty with chapathis. It was the first time that I made this chutney. Now I saw this recipe and will make this tomorrow. This is a Sabzi which is common in North Karnataka, if I am right. I would add a little lemon juice to it I think. Thank you chef Inamdar.
