I lived here all thru Highschool..and still have family that owns property in Moon Lake. It might look a mess..but this area is the CHEAPEST place to purchase land and live in Pasco, and all around it is being developed ..its 15 mins from US 19 and and 5 min to the Veterans expressway. You get alot of freedom there also..no trash pickup to pay for ( u can if u want to) just burn it in a burn barrel..very few street lights so u can actually see the stars at night, the list of freedoms goes on on in in Moon Lake

I am glad you did not berate the people living in this community the way you have in your prior video as no one has a right to judge unless you are GOD himself. People from this community have had to actually WORK for everything they have even if it isn’t much It was hard earned! So a little compassion and empathy goes a long way. The large gated community across Moon Lake Road has the highest crime rate in Pasco County, burglaries, home invasions. It's the nice areas targeted for crime, especially gated ones.

Grew up in Moon Lake with my aunt Rosie my uncle Cosmo and my uncle Sidney Wayne bought a car off the Indian that used to live on the corner by the creek Good Times....

Looks like a lot of freedom still exist in this area shown. I bet soon it will be torn down, and high rise apartments, and 1,000 square feet homes, that cost 2 million dollars will cover the land, and traffic cameras, and law enforcement on every corner with speed traps. Sad.

It’s such a weird contrast from looking at the west side of Moon Lake Road versus the East side ( the old area)…..And yes I remember the stigma of that place In the late 80s early 90s….Even people who lived in Hudson ragged on that place……someone mention that the nice gated community on the west side is constantly being Visited by midnight burglars lol….Par for the course when I lived in Westchase and Bayport Colony…You had to go through two gates and a guard shack but yet people found a way in…To do some midnight shopping…..Most of the Crime came from East of Sheldon and Memorial( Town and country a.k.a. town in ghetto)…The truth is you’re not safe anywhere but it’s a no-brainer you build a high end community right Across the street three low income neighborhood that’s had that reputation for many years…An automated gate is not going to keep Them out
