As a teen, I once had the opportunity to observe these interviews. The talent would sit in audience facing McMahon. When their opportunity approached they would stand just where Backlund was standing here. Just the talent, McMahon, one camera man, one sound man. McMahon would produce the interviews.

i remember back in 1973 at the BOSTON GARDEN, watching the wrestling matches. i was 15 years old and FREDDIE BLASSIE walked by me and a kid about 12 years old called BLASSIE an idiot or something to that effect. BLASSIE told him to ''go home and eat your mother''. i never forgot that and i'm almost 65 years ols.
