The Bobby Lester's Moonglows singing "Most Of All" back in 1995.
Lyrics:
Most of all, I want your warm embrace
No one can take your place
I need you most of all
Most of all, I want your sweet caress
Truly, I must confess
I need you most of all
When I sleep at night
I dream wonderful, wonderful dreams of you
And when I'm awake
No one's there and that's why
I'm so blue
Most of all, the one thing that I, I miss
The way we used to kiss
I need you most of all
When I sleep at night
I dream wonderful, wonderful dreams of you
And when I'm awake
No one's there and that's why
I'm so blue
Most of all, the one thing that I, I miss
The way we used to kiss
I need you most of all.

I was living in Brooklyn, NY, at the time and walking about 2 blocks from the subway. I would sing this song all the way home. Best years of my life.♥️

This is Connie from North Philadelphia, Ron's partner. This song is so very beautiful. I grew up in the 50s. I am so prviledged to have listened this music from Georgie Woods and Jocko on WDAS in Philadelphia. I miss this music so very, very much. So many people miss this too. The music today cannot and will not compare to this. I love this and the Jaguars singing The Way You Look Tonight. This is music, not today's crap. This music makes sense. Today's doesn't,

This group did a great job of capturing the spirit of the original group. I don't know who the lead is, but he was a good choice to deliver Bobby Lester's leads.

As good as these 'Moonglows' are in '95 remember that Bobby Lester was dead 15 years already when this performance was done, and that no original Moonglows are shown here.

Exceptional 50s doo wop group. Most of All was featured in the early '70s Robert Blake film, Elecra Glide in Blue, only by the Edsels (Rama Lama Ding Ding fame) not Moonglows.

Gary Rodgers -- He was singing lead the first time I saw this group, a few months after Bobby Lester passed. I thought he did a much, much better job of capturing Bobby's tone and phrasing than Billy McPhatter, (one of Clyde's sons) who sang lead in this performance (and every time I saw them after that first time).

All comments refer to the "originals" and Bobby Lester's leads, etc. Does anyone realize that this some was originally made by Harvey Fuqua, lead of the legendary Harvey & the MoonGlows?! Come on you young Doo wop fans...The original "Sincerely", a timeless classic was Harvey & The MoonGlows. Bobby Lester was good but he was no Harvey!
@RichZFishes

Bobby sang the lead on the original versions of both Sincerely and Most of All. "Harvey & the Moonglows" was actually Harvey Fuqua and the Marquees (including Marvin Gay, before he added the "e" to his last name), and Chuck Barksdale of the Dells singing bass, and didn't come into existence until 1958.

How can this decent "tribute" group call themselves "Bobby Lester's Moonglows"? I know that someone owns the name "Moonglows" and can legally use it, but the name of someone who's been dead for years should not be used to imply his participation.

MickTheQuickk ....the story is that Bobby Lester trained these guys to sing in the Moonglows fashion , Lester gave these guys his blessings to take over where he left off (thats why they are Bobby Lester's Moonglows) by the way the bass is Clyde McPhatter's nephew

Bobby passed away in 1980. He was coaching them right until then, and they had signed to appear at the first of a series of "DooWop at the Garden" concerts put on by Richard Nader on 11/14/80 at the Felt Forum in MSG. They appeared without Bobby (but with Billy Johnson, the original group's longtime guitarist). Billy McPhatter was brought in to replace Bobby, but didn't have enough time to master the lead parts, so he sang bass. He was introduced as Clyde's son. The 2nd time we saw them, at the next of Nader's Garden shows (or maybe it was the 3rd one) McPhatter had moved to the lead, and Bobby Lester's cousin Gary Rodgers (who had been doing the lead) had moved to bass. McPhatter sang lead until well into the 90s, and Rodgers sang bass until he passed in the 90s. Personally, I thought he was better in the lead position (especially on songs that Bobby had originally sung lead on) than McPhatter. He was replaced by Bobby Lester's son, who sang high tenor, and the other members (Peter Lawford and Bruce Martin) shifted positions.
