A mellow month in the Marshall islands!
This week we settle in to life in Majuro.
We organise our cruising permits for outer atoll travel. We do a big restocking of the larder after a few months of travel through Tuvalu and Kiribati. The local shops and supermarkets are well stocked but we have to keep a close eye on the use by dates... .
Amazon is definitely our friend this week as we take advantage of the low shipping rates.
And we finally replace Dave. Big shoes to fill , but Daisy seems up for the task ...

Hello and welcome to our channel! We are Jo and Rob and we are here to share our sailing adventures with you.
In 2016, inspired by the likes of ‘Delos’, ‘Sailing La Vagabonde’ and ‘Gone with The Wynns’, we sold up everything we owned and bought our 40ft, Fountaine Pajot ‘Lipari 41 Evo’ sailing catamaran ‘Double Trouble’. We had no sailing experience whatsoever, so the past few years have been a huge learning curve.
We thought it might be fun to document our travels for anyone thinking of following a similar lifestyle.
So far we have visited 7 different countries and sailed over 13,000 nautical miles.
We have had many unique experiences that would not have been possible in our prior life and we don’t regret a second.
We're both super keen on protecting our precious environment, so amongst other things, we both follow a plant based diet. You wont find any fishing footage on this channel!

Global cruisers washing bag. IKEA. Everywhere in the world there is cruiser with one. Hope that you and Mavic mini have a happy life together. Beautiful thanks for sharing.

We tried the Mavic Mini, but the software refused to install even though our phones are less then 2 years old, so we returned it. It is the cutest little drone though.... The Marshall Islands look like Paperwork Central ;-) Hopefully that is all done and you do not have to fill out a form for leaving each island..

Hi, Thanks so much for your comments. The Mavic Air was a wonderful option for us until i drowned it. :-( The mini is good in lighter winds. Unfortunately the Marshall Islands trades are rarely less than 15 knots, so we have to pick our good days! Paperwork was not too bad...
