It depends on how the silicone mold is made. If the master that the silicone is poured over is really smooth then you can achieve a pretty shiny finish but it takes a lot more work. You can also use rub a tiny amount of worm oil into the silicone and get very shiny baits as well

Can this type of mold be heated on a griddle at all for more even pours ?

They would most likely warp if used on a griddle. A lot of guys use heat guns to pre heat the molds and pour laminates with these.

Yes they operate on Facebook only. They used to have a website but closed it down and I don’t think they have any intentions of opening one again
