Hello KZfaq Friends,
I pray you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends and family. I made a simple sheath mod to the Mora Eldris. It's easy and I believe adds versatility to the ferro rod and Eldris knife.

That was one of the goals was to streamline the mod. I thought about adding a small leather tinder pouch to the lanyard but probably not

I am going to start making videos soon, I've tried to message some of you guys but I only have a phone so message option not available through app, I don't have a camera or a computer but I will try with just my phone. you, Nathan and my three other Chanel's have inspired me to make videos even if I don't have the gear or tons of views how you promoted the kid with the fire starters really made me realize that this small community on KZfaq is something that I would love to be a part of I will start with unboxing the mora elderis:)

Great mod sir! My Eldris will be delivered to me tomorrow and I've been thinking of ways to mod it so the ferro-rod is attached to the sheath and unobtrusive. I may use this method, IDK yet though. Thanks for the heads up.

Nice mod, especially the hole to keep the second band in place! :-) BTW aren't you afraid you'd accidentally strangle yourself by the lanyard? I prefer having the ends of the paracord being held together by a ranger band (twisted around the two ends a few times) so it would come free under much lower weight than the 550lbs of the cord is. I saw this on YT but I can't find the video now ...
