Heretic is my fav besides Altars, I think the production isn't the best, but if you look past that Heretic is one of the best albums to me. It is truly underrated.

There was another interview where he said he liked the music for Domination, and it is great. The only problem is that most David's lyrics were lazily written and also pretty racist. That's why he doesn't play them live. Also he likes the looser sound that FFTTF has for example. I still love that album too. Great groove and solos

Domination is definitely not their best album but it's better than anything since Heretic..

What bothers me more is that David is no longer in the band. In my opinion, Morbid only works when Trey and David write music together.

In fact Formulas, Gateways and Heretic are musically superior to the David Vincent era snd I find Steve Tucker a much better vocalist and bass player. David is lyrically like a Marilyn Manson these days and is been lame since domination. Also the guy saying Trey dissed David well clearly he is not aware of the Nazi comments David was making behind Trey's back when promoting and giving interviews. Also Trey WAS ASKED if it were up to him he wouldn't have talked about it because he moved forward and that's his focus. This interviewer kept bringing it up. Trey is just honest. Which I can appreciate that.

Dont take my word, trust Trey's 2:57 5:40 and for me the D album is weak...

"Domination", as far as Morbid Angel albums go, always felt very lukewarm. Tame, in a way, very reined in. I can see why he wouldn't care for it if it didn't showcase them at their best (which, clearly, it didn't).

No it doesnt mean that... Dave wrote lyrics to Immortal Rites, Visions from the Darkside , Damnation , Maze of Torment and Suffocation . Trey wrote lyrics to Evil Spells ,Lord of all fever and plagues , Blasphemy and Bleed for the Devil and lyrics for chapel of ghouls were by Trey and Mike Browning. Check out wikpedia

Josh Pelton I find it weird that Dave wrote the most imaginative lyrics on that album (Immortal Rites, Visions from the Darkside) while Trey wrote the most aggressive ones (Blasphemy, Bleed for the Devil, Chapel of Ghouls), when in person, Dave is the tough and domineering one, while Trey is kinda soft. Weird how that goes, huh?

David is no original member, no founding member. Without Trey there would be no Morbid Angel as he is the foundation of this band. So it's a Trey Azagthoth band.
