Wow...watched from a to z and its like throwing a rock in a pond ...and one wave makes more waves....from motor alignment to steering and out to core support....lot of education about this mopar...thank you BareRose

Thanks One62 and your very welcome man! It's like the old saying.... "Match everything from the Wing Nut to the Lug Nut" It's why I stopped when I seen that Ball & Trunnion U-Joint. Going slow is the best way to go fast, because if I would've just dove in and yanked that thing out of there.... I would be fighting that angle every step of the way.

Great video and explanation of things! If you put a Chrysler small block in it you can use the A body left side exaust manifold and keep the power steering! 👍

Looking at it though, I'd have find an older ball & trunnion u-joint tranny for it as well, to keep that angle. Like they did with the V8 models of these years. With a modern (standard) double U-joint driveline in here, it will have major U-joint wrap, and rip that tail shaft out if it hard bites. It's going to be tricky to make this all happen without cutting that SUPER narrow angled tunnel and widening it out to center it for the rear-end.

It's making it a nightmare to put a v8 in there ...... for.... sure..... lol. But like I said in the start of al this, bone stock, all of these little oddities work together to actually make it all work and fit. When it's all together, you don't really notice any of this stuff, and it all works. But if you Change It...... yeah.... that's when things get sticky.... lololol.

I can see you justifying the SBC to go in. Now you can change it to whatever you want. Straight axle gasser look?

That's definitely on the table of options for this. Not so much because I prefer it.... but because it's stuff I already have.... lol.

Then when the video is over, it's stays up and out there like any other video but the "Live Chat Box" goes away is all.
