I think it's funny how whenever something is wrong in their restaurant it is somehow ALWAYS someone else's fault. the mark of a true loser.

When I watched The Kitchen Nightmares episode - - - I really thought it had to be fake, that no way could restaurant owners be so vile and rude to their customers. And when I found out it was all true..... I was shocked. But oddly enough, after watching the show, and seeing Amy and Sammy's despicable Behavior, I think that the WORST thing that I saw in that episode was how Sammy keeps The Waitresses' tips!.....WTF?!?!??!! OMG. The owner. Keeping his waitresses tips. Now that one truly Takes the Cake. SMH

That restaurant is a money laundering business, nothing more. Think about how that old ass man had so much money to invest, and never lets anyone but him look at the finances/register (as seen on Kitchen Nightmares). And despite having next to no business, they havent gone bankrupt. News flash, he's either involved in drug dealing or is at least laundering someone else's money for a fee.

Amy served 14 months for bank fraud and they both too a plea deal for class D felony for misuse of a Social Security Number that was someone else's. The husband claims to be a "Mobster" and I think he got deported for drug distribution, threats, and extortion.” and I'm sure the list goes on between them two.

She should be thankful that she is free from that hell hole. Katy even said that she quits. Katy was fired for no reason other than accusing her of having an attitude problem. Very Well could have happened. I'm a bartender, and I throw out atleast 2 bottles a week because of fruit flies. All it boils down too is pour management. They should be checking bottles. especially for Martini's.I can personally tell you "Rosso Blanco" , the mix for martini's, is one of the fruit flies favorite liqueurs. Owners are just cheap and did not go through bottles to dump infected liquors. Simple as that.

I leave the coffee creamer out with lid open from 5am to 12pm. I often find small flys in it if I open the doors a lot or have the house opened up. Always think its coffee grounds but coffee grounds dont have wings. Neither do lemons bits.

The word is "convenient", not "convinient", and it would only be convenient if the reporter and her friends' drinks were the ONLY drinks out of many similar ones served by ABC (Amy's "Baking" Company, not the American Broadcasting Corp.) to have flies in them. You have NO IDEA whether this was the case or not.Those tiny flies are common fruitflies, and they love all partly rotting / fermented fruit flesh and juice - vinegar, for example - so it stands to reason that a bottle of lemon juice (the drinks had lemon in them), especially one with a cap even slightly loosely placed on, would contain MANY drowned flies which could end up in any and all drinks; the same goes for cut up lemons left out in the open at room temps. Samy doesn't strike me as someone too keenly focused on details, so it's easy to see how he might have missed them - plus, he's old, and doesn't wear glasses, and the insects are small - so the flies in the drink are 100% plausible, thus your "bullshit detector" is worthless - get a refund on that a.s.a.p. if you still have the receipt.

Fruit flies are a sign that an area is not sanitary. The only way to get rid of them is to shut down for a few days, clean everything thoroughly, bleach sinks and other breeding areas, and make sure all trash is out. I used to manage a hotel and sadly, this happened to the restaurant that the owners of the hotel leased out.

I have gone to Amy's Baking company and ordered the ravioli and a slice of cake and the server was being tormented by Amy and Samy and I was about to leave but Samy literally pushed me out for complaining about their food and saying Amy has no passion in cooking her food. I was so humiliated and I immediately wrote my complaints on Twitter and it went VIRAL!!! Amy's Baking Company more like Amy's Bitching Company! Just my opinion and experience

IF I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN A 2ND DRINK WITH FRUITS FLIES I WOULD HAVE DEMANDED TO SEE EVERY PLACE THAT THEY STORE FRUIT!!! ALL FRIDGES INCLUDING THE BARS FRIDGES!!!?
