@gpapa31, I have the same concern. The uncertainty surrounding combustion engine makes me think this might be the last expensive car that I buy. While Majority of gasoline cars will be worth nothing, some cars like the 4C might still have buyers. Maybe buy one in the low $40k or in the $30k, drive it, then sell it in few years. It will still be worth the same.

@TempeMax, the competition is a nice choice. I would buy the blue Italia if I had a chance. But I still enjoy my 4C. I want to change tires to Michelins and see how the car behaves. Thank you for watching the video!

@@JioniDrive Italian race cars are red ( from there the red Ferrari and red Alfa ) and even sports car we prefer in that colour, bu black is the best after mine ( pers9nal opinion)…. Blue is not for that car ….. Michelin seems to be the best choice in the standard tyres. I have Pirelli and doesn’t like very much. I bought the 33 tributo rims champagne and when I’ll assembly them I’ll buy Michelin tyres. There are other choice if you want a semi slick as Yokohama but for the street use are not a good choice.

@@JioniDrive I live in Lodi and mine is totally bone stock except for wheel spacers and slightly wider tires. It is the fully loaded version 2015 non launch model. I did zero out my toe settings up front but I do not have the suspension blocks added yet.

@@JioniDrive I have General G - Max ( a off shoot brand made by continental) extreme high performance all season 215 / front 245 / rear. They are pretty decent for canyon carving / daily driving. I went with R compound tires on my Lotus and it was great having that extreme grip but I wanted a little bit of longevity in my tires this time around without spending a small fortune because its going to be awhile before I can make it to the track.

@shawnanderson2680, I might check those tires out. I have always wanted a Lotus Exige. I only bought the 4C because I couldn’t find a supercharged Exige for $50k. Which Lotus do you have?

@rideordie2318, it’s $1300 with the customer sending the original ECU to be re-mapped. If you get a separate ECU, it’s over $2k. I agree the tune is pricey.
