When we think of Grail watches often the only thing between ourselves and the watch is financial. Sometimes, an interesting watch because of its design, functions or watchmaker can be very affordable. This video looks at some.

Hello Bill, small correction. Brazil won the World Cup 5 times, the stars in the dial suppose to resemble the Brazilian stars in the flag, which are the Southern Cross.

Very interesting video Bill. It looks like you found some really good buys. I tried to buy the Longines Ephemerides Solaires but they wouldn't sell it to me. They said I need a intergalactic degree from NASA. I looked at the Paul Gerber a while back after watching another one of your videos. The design through me off, but I am impressed with what he's done with the movement. The PF is fantastic, but I would rather get the 1950. The Bovet really is a "Grail Watch" in and of itself. It would be fantastic if you could cover topics like regular maintenance intervals, signs a watch needs servicing, finding reliable watchmakers (local vs. manufacturer), cleaning and care routines, common issues and troubleshooting, storage and handling best practices, the importance of proper lubrication, maintaining water resistance, special care for vintage watches, essential tools for DIY maintenance, and cost considerations. Looking forward to the session!

Good insights! Agree especially for good buys with Parmigiani- many good buys still. Not as good as a year to 3 years back with the 1950 variations, but still really nice pieces out there! Other brands like Moser & Cie- the good double hairspring models a bit more expensive but still attainable. For their precious metal in palladium- prices have shot up! Happy hunting folks!

Some of those mentioned are hard to find, Cesar. They're just not expensive. See how many Equation of Time watches by Longines or Martin Braun are available. Take care, Bill
