Fantastic hunt. I was born in 1956 making me 67 years old. That class ring was 1958 so who ever lost that would be 75 or 76 born around 1940. Really good hunt!

This weeks mystery find reminds me of an attachment to a table top meat grinder my mother and I used. They usually had several different style attachments. Love your videos especially the photographs. I've been detecting since 1972. Slowed down but still swing occasionally. 🇺🇸 SW Kansas

You have the most interesting detecting channel I love the way you incorporate a little history lesson with your finds. I have said before you find things that a lot of others wouldn't consider a great find your still excited to find. The ring was beautiful I am 62 but I remember my older sisters that graduated highschool in the 60's having similar class rings Another fantastic video!

Great little spot, and a very worthwhile hunt, For a moment there you added 10yrs to my age, born in 58, I didnt think i'd been sitting here that long!... So the owner of that ring, I imagine would be in there mid 70s to early 80s, im only guessing at it being teenagers attending that school. I hope your able to find the owner, It would make for a very interesting story, by itself ! I also hope we get to see the outcome! Enjoyed the hunt! Cheers Greg!

What a hunt! Good luck on researching the ring. It'll be tough without knowing the school, but you've got the year and owners initials. Jostens was in Princeton, Illinois, about 30 miles from me. It may still be there, I'll have to double check.

In the '70's I drove an armored truck based out of Ventura, California. Every now and then we would get a special gold shipment from the Santa Barbara airport directly to Jostens in Summerland, Ca. Jostens was a semi hidden facility on top of a wooded hill overlooking the ocean. Average shipment was 5-6 gold bars in canvas bank bags with values around $230,000-$250,000 each. I wasn't aware there were other Jostens in the country. Your comment peaked my curiosity. Even at 70, I learn something new every day. Thanks charlie.

Very Nice Hunt Greg. That 1919 Silver Canadian Dime is Beautiful. I've only found one Silver Canadian Coin an 1896 5 Cent Piece. Nice Canadian dime & a Buf with a date. Couple real nice Mercs great condition & many nice wheats. Congrats on the class ring. Hope you find her or a surviving relative. I found one & she has it now. Fantastic ending photos I love them.

i went out the other day for 2 hours and only trash just as i was headed to the car bang found a silver ring ,so yeah never give up and keep swinging even on the way back to your car you never know.. happy hunting and good luck
