I have serviced women like you for over a decade. Sis just because you have long hair doesn’t mean it’s healthy. I service thousands that were natural for 20 years it looked thick and beautiful until it’s detoxed of all product under a electron microscope. If it’s working then why are you here. Keep it up and go find your tribe. Hair weather takes 6 weeks to 25 years to set in. Most of my client are in their 50’s -70’s wishing they didn’t think like you when they were younger. Gurl do you. No one cares.

Mine is shoulder length and healthy as well. There are different types of naturals as well as relaxed women, who don’t know how to take care of their hair. Everyone is not the same.

I have been rocking my natural hair for over 10 years as well. I do twist outs and wash and gos certain seasons of the year. I do stretched protective styling in the winter months. My hair is trimmed every 3-4 months per year. I do 1-2 silk presses a year. Before I was introduced to the natural hair community my hair would only grow a little past my shoulders. NOW my hair is waist length.

@@sashie_washie Yes. Not every natural educates themselves on the proper care and maintenance of their natural hair. Since the beginning of my natural hair journey, I have checked in with my hair by blowing it out for trims on a regular basis so that O could see what was happening with it. My hair is nearly waist length as well. I also have not ever been into slathering loads of product on. I guess, since I have low porosity hair, I never needed to. I feel like it is all about listening to your hair and giving it what it needs.

I agree. I don’t believe wash and goes are the problem. I believe some of us not effectively taking care of our hair and not using the right/quality products is the problem. Also visiting a hair stylist for trims and care is a plus.

I have thigh length healthy relaxed hair which I keep cutting because I don’t want it that long and one of my nieces also has healthy relaxed hair right above her butt crack…I have been relaxed most of my life since I was in my early teens…I don’t ever let the hair police community dictate to me what I should or shouldn’t do to my hair, I do what works for me but I also listen to what Cyn doll says because she comes with professional knowledge which makes her qualify to give advice…

My sister and all of her children is so called “team natural”. She is all for co-washing, heatless styling and does not believe in trims. She naturally has beautiful curly hair but the breakage is heart wrenching. When I try to talk to her about it, she gets so defensive. It’s the most frustrating thing to explain why you need to wash your hair or why you need to trim your strays hair and split ends. The wildest thing, is that she will then turn around and complain about thinning and other related hair concerns. So I’m happy that you’re talking about this topic. It so informative. I need to share your video with her.

I’ll block her then she really won’t listen to you.🤣Just lead by example sis. Let her keep going one day she’ll see the hair weathering in full affect you can’t explain logic to a illogical mind. Protect your peace. I’m going live tomorrow going deep on the topic I’ll go deep in this area just for you sis!

Change up your routine. What would happen to your legs if they stayed wrapped up all the time. Your hair can not stayed covered or in twist. That was her routine plus wigs. You need to find a routine that allows you to wear your hair out.

You are a God send. You have helped me answer so many questions that didn’t make sense about my hair. I wish I would have found you sooner. I lost so much hair going through cycles of growth then it falling out after 8 months to a year. I didn’t know I was working against myself (I stayed co-washing my hair, oiling my scalp every day, not shampooing enough, scared to use a brush on my hair, improperly using products) When I found your channel I was about to give up and just do locs on my hair but instead decided to pray and all of a sudden all my questions and frustration began to be answered) So grateful to find you now. The deception out here is real. Keep crying loud! Love your passion to unveil the truth to us. That is what I was searching for when I prayed and God pointed me right to you. ❤

@@IamCynDoll Yes I have. I have been spreading the word. Because people need to know this. I know some may struggle to hear what you are saying but not me, I have been searching for true change. For the first time in 43 years of my life I have never seen my hair and scalp feel and look better. But I think the thing that floored me the most about all of this is that once you really understand and practice what you’re telling us to do it’s so simple, that my mind can’t believe it’s been this simple for so long. I wish I could send you a picture of all the oils, butters, products I have bought. So much my bathroom cabinet looks like a beauty supply store. But now after taking your 7 day challenge and listening to your videos, taking notes and going back to do my own research I only use a hand full of products. I know I may say this a lot in my post about you but I really mean it thank you. ❤ May God bless you for standing for the truth and helping other women. Your labor is not in vain. You’re making true change.

Girl everything you been saying in this video came out this year with the Black Girl Curls/Cut it kinky drama. Lol! Nope, not me. I'm going to stick with my trichologists and Aveda stylists, my leave-in and deep conditioner combs and brushes and Olaplex! I personally rotate my styles. wigs for winter, braids for fall. Spring is styles with tucked ends and summer is the wash and go but with minimal product...I don't have time or scalp resilience to put 2 or 3 gels in my hair. Oh and I use shampoo.

@@IamCynDoll I mean I don't understand how people watch you rotate your styles on your own hair and still don't do the same on their own hair even though you have HS. you actually practice what you preach. Oh yeah and I make sure to get my trims....at least twice a year straight blown out and flat ironed! So my stylist can catch all of my disconnected layers! my hair doesn't all grow out at the same length and too much disconnection leads to tangling and breaking for me. Maintenance cuts on straight hair and curly style cuts on curly hair is what my stylist said. If I can't get to my stylist I'm going to trim it myself as I have my own hair shears...It won't be perfect but those splits and knots and tangles will be gone!!

I have been relaxer free for 6 years and it’s a lot of work. I’m actually thinking about going back to a relaxer . My daughter does my maintenance and flat irons it about 3 times a year to cut any damaged ends or hair off. My silk presses last about 2 weeks when I do get those but I’m really tired of not having a hair style . I don’t do any wash n go styles or twists I shampoo and condition my relaxer free hair and I braid it and sit under the dryer for a half hour and that’s it for me! Any suggestions?

Because your bonds are never set a diffuser does not dry all 100k-400k strands so you get hydral fatigue overtime. When you have a wash and go you can’t run your fingers through or comb your hair without products or your hair will break. By the next wash day the follicles and cuticles are already clogged. it takes seconds to break the hairshaft and block oxygen flow to the scalp and follicles. Most will go days without coming their hair to persevere curls and so many other things. I’ve made hundreds of videos on the topic search through my channel.
