Yeah I feel there should be some unwritten rules for changing cannon and the power hierarchy. Like for example you don’t need to have Galactus be constantly curb stomped by something stronger to make an entertaining story. True, now dc after tackling the multiverse created another multiverse of a multiverse in dark crisis. Then rebooting it, we all know its gonna go back to bite after another crisis and its just reppetative. Sure they know how to tell a good story, but the story is so out their that its hard to connect all the dots. I Miss reading a characters comic, and knowing everything about it after the next release. Now i need to read other comics so that a characters new comic ill be able to understand since they put bits of pieces of a characters story in every other series.

Yeah that story just has a whole different vibe. The OAA genuinely feels like a god even though it’s the appearance of some homeless man. He doesn’t break the universe or do something insane but just had a very deep and introspective look at Spider Man. Something mysterious and unfathomable but something that seems to care about the stories of these tiny individuals in the universe

I think they coulda done it, woulda been hard but possible. One thing you cannot do, is try to flesh out and completely explain the incomprehensible. Thats the whole god damn point of something like that existing. Its beyond us, or anythings understanding. Its a concept. I 100% agree. I always felt like the One Above All should just be a Tribute to Creators in Marvel Comics and as it's name states is just Above All. The only times where showing up was something incredible was when it showed up as Jack Kirby to be a Meta comment on storytelling or when it's hinted to be Stan Lee Cameos. When you put a power scale to it, it's no longer special or incredible. It's just another Cosmic Entity.

I think omega+ level powers are not interesting in comics nor shows, because it's not action, but just narration of power. The best power scaling in a show ever is Gurren Lagen. And they understand that you have to bring it to an end. You can't power scale indefinitely, that just gets dumb.

Yeah they literally ruined the one above all for me with this comic. I think that marvel is just trying so hard to do what DC does with the presence. It works for DC but marvels just feels forced.

The book asks the question if toaa is actually God and he answers no ...that doesn't discredit God it puts toaa in perspective...God isn't tangible...toaa has been for years

Well there shouldn't actually,that's the problem with fiction in the first place who ever is telling this story right now is trying to make it as meta as possible yeah they all know they are fictional now but that doesn't change the fact that we still see them as fiction they only know they are fiction because the writers allow it,the writers can just straight up cancel,reboot or retcon this story if they want to and non of this characters can do anything about it including TOAA and Presence in their respective verses after all they're fiction and basically non existent,if there is a being above TOAA then there should be a being above that as well and it can go on and on and on till infinity and we'll still see all of them as fiction so it doesn't really matter if they make something more powerful than TOAA,it will just make the stories and characters in it more confusing and brain racking

This makes me question if we, in real life, operate in a similar system to things beyond us. @@BBEEYYAA I'm sorry to say this, but that was just Geoff Johns having some fun. Geoff Johns isn't even charge of DC anymore, so he can't make that happen if he wanted to. That was written as more of a "what if" situation along with the other Earths he mentions in that story at the end.
