Indian AK203 and the gun shown shown in the video or defexpo is different!! Indian 203 has been customised to reduce the price , Fixed polymer butt stock , not retractable, side pica tany rail has been removed, etc baki internal components are same

Dont show the russian ak 203 but show the real indian ak 203 which we buy which look more below standard low quality and look same as ak56.... Only 2picatiny rail inlike four in russian ak 203

If this is what you called it 'modernisation' of weapon then Indian armed forces will continue to lagged behind. There are many reasons why casualty of armed forces while encountering terrorists continue to rise despite equipped with better logistics & Intel. Soviet era weapon is one of them. AK varients may be resilient but in terms of accuracy & ergonomics they're not match to American & German fire arms. Gone are the days when war/encounter are fought at close range. Nowadays shots are fired & exchange from at least 150m to 300m. Thus accuracy is the key. Indian defence should quit its obsession with budget fire arms & focus on quality otherwise jawans casualty will continue to rise.

From my perspective ugram looks and operates same as the insas you can see the similarity if you keep an upgrades insas and ugram side by side it's just the calibre difference
