Got mine for 22€ and I actually prefer it to my Radar. I've used it with my tube amp and there's no perceptible latency compared to the actual amp cabinet. The thing that it has XLR, bluetooth, interface and can be powered by USB-C is crazy at this price point. It also sounds great and the default IRs are more than decent. I'm not a fan of digital gear, but this thing rocks. A DI box for the Radar would cost me at least the same.

I ordered one with a demonfx be-odx plus pedal. I have old pedal amps and multifx like Pod 1.0, X3 Live, Hughes & Kettner Metal Master, Peavey Studio Pro 110 as well Boss MT-2 and DS-1 I modded so it will have many uses. I even have a Nux Amp Academy which already has IR sect,on but you can't turn it off and You have to use it's fx return for solely IR use. I am very excited to use Free Gods Cab IRS, I already use on DAW and Nux amp Academy. On thing missing like in Mooer Radar is Tube Amp Sim but for the price it is al OK. Great Demo

My order arrived recently, but I have a problen when I try to load my 3rd Party IR even if they Are 44.1 Khz. Does any one know a working site fro converting IR's so I can use with IR Box. My Nux Amp Academy has no such issues

what i hate about the mvave is that it has no on//off button but its very usefull

It is true, but you can still bypass it by pressing + and - simultaneously, but I agree is not handy AT ALL! Cheers mate!

My only concern with this pedal is the ~9ms latency, since I play mostly through an interface at home and I already have ~5ms latency, so I don't know if it will get too bad

I didn't feel so much when I was recording... but Latency is always a concerning point! I trully get your point mate. I would suggest you to try it! As I said... I didn't feel it when I was playing through the interface and monitoring through de DAW. Cheers!

This has less than 1.5 ms latency. Its in the description from M-Vave. The Sonicake Sonic IR on the other hand has 9 ms latency.

Sounds a little bit high pitched! Maybe the pickups of the guitar. But the Drive tone sounded better. Missing a little bit of punch... I would like to know if it maintains the quality of the third party IRs or degenerates it like in the Cuvave! Well done! 🙌🏻

Its a simplifier substitute? or i need another pedal to play without my combo amp? I see many CAB, AMP, DI, IR, and cant undestand 😢

Hey mate! I will be glad to help you! If you prefer to get in touch straight via message, join us on the Telegram Group t.me/riffsnrig! But anyway, here goes the answer to you: The IR BOX simulates only the Speakers, or more preciselly, the CAB of your AMP. Your AMP is composed of a PREAMP (with transistors or with Pre-Amp Tubes), a POWER AMP (with Transistors or also with Power Amp Tubes) and finally the CAB (which has its own set of speakers, 2x12, 1x15, 4x12, 1x12, etc). The IRBOX simulates only the CAB, which means that you will need a PREAMP pedal. Notice that some Drive pedals can be used as preamps, but you will miss one thing: the POWER AMP session! If you will use a drive pedal as preamp, you will need to use the EQ of the IRBox to raise a little bit the Low and Mid Low frequencies, as it gives more "body" to the sound! A good solution to combine with this one if you are really on a budget is the M-VAVE Mini AMP or even the Flamma Preamp FS06, which has REALLY GOOD preamp simulations, including the power amp stage, and with clean and drive channels! Cara, compra umas coisas top aí na Itália, que aí nas Europa não tem taxa tão gde como no Br, tá cheio de equipo barato ae. Gibson pessoal nem paga pau, todo mundo tem, fender, puts, toda molecada tem ar, compra uns cabeçote e posta aí pra noixz mano. Vídeos em inglês assim mundo todo pode aproveitar conteúdo, já os caras que vc segue como zakka, o nego, Paulinho não fazem. Poe uns produtos baratinhos m vave nos vídeos. Top. Bem filmado. The tonex DI's need a "power amp sim" before the cab IR. If you run a tonex DI into just a plain IR it wont sound right (sounds like tin can). Or am I mistaken about how tonex works I think you're running a "preamp" of an amp into an IR without any power amp. Sounds terrible. The Amp Cab section of the tonex, is simulating a power amp when the cab is included (it doen't really point this out with just AMP CAB labels... but it's definitely simulating a poweramp without telling you, which is why you would need some sort of Power amp before your IR. That pedal would sound completely different (and correct) if something was simulating the power amp section. Cool review, cool pedal, but don't see how it adds anything of value without a simulated power amp section for the IR's.

Hey mate! This is a good point! I actually used a capture which has the full pack, but used the TONEX ONE function to turn off the cab for external IR use! Honestly... I believe you can be right! I will check it! Thanks a lot! Cheers! 🎛️🔥

@@RiffsRigs This same thing happened to me with a different IR loader. The IR loader I was using didn't simulate a Power-amp.... and it sounded great with anything else that had power-amp simulation. The tonex didn't sound right no matter what I did, so I think when you disable "CAB" on ToneX pedal (or use DI preamp) it also takes out a power amp simulation with the cab. It took me all day of loading and unloading IR's to figure that out. (but i may be wrong!) lol

I have same one too. Hardware is ok, but app for android or PC is totally garbage. Pain in ass. You need older android to work properly, and weird screen resolution on pc to fit this program properly on screen. Shitty money - shitty value.
