They are happy because they have accomplished their dream. Successful Band with control of their music. Plus they have become best friends. Just talent, professionalism and working their asses off to get there!!! I have my ticket to see them live in October!!!

Now you understand why Jimmy Page after watching Akane's drumming said that she was one of the best drummers that he's ever heard and that she reminded him of John Bonham.

It’s only a miracle where all the talents of these five girls or people, or even musicians, have gathered int a single band. All the five make this chemistry and no one else can be replaced with anybody else. They deliver their music and bring smiles to listeners and audience. Isn’t it great?

I'm an English speaker who doesn't understand a word of Japanese, but I always have a huge smile on my face when I listen to Band-Maid. They all work together so well, the rhythm section is (in my opinion at least ) the backbone of a band and Akane's drums and Misa's bass are solid. The barefoot assassin hits hard and fast :)

In case you guys are unaware, they just announced a USA tour for this October. I'm flying over from England for the San Diego and Houston gigs, already got my tickets.

Prolly others have said this already…..but… 1) Those bass fills 2) Drum solo stays in rhythm 3) The passage after the drum leads so beautifully into the guitar solo.

Haven't seen this review for awhile, but they remind me of me. I'm also a form working musician, producer, songwriter and engineer. I say this, to say, I can't simply enjoy a song for what it is, either. Listening to them call out triplets, etc, during the drum solo, was both impressive and sad at the same time. Just enjoy the song, and comment about the technical capabilities of the band. Knowing the specific techniques each musician is using, are comments better suited for music lessons, not reviews. These kids are obviously impressive musicians in their own right, but they seem to be providing too much info for the average subscriber. Just an observation, an opinion, and yes, just like our ass holes, we all have one:)

Don't feel bad dude. I was not only the lead guitarist, I was the Producer/Engineer too. Fortunately back then there wasn't as much interest in the gear.
