@@owenhensley i got a crazy story for ya 2 years ago, i was out hunting an area...an area that i think i crossed into by accident...as i walked back to my spot realizing i was not on my ground i seen a nice backpack just sitting in the woods...i scouted for about 5 min then realized i had two turkey hunters starring at me from about 50 ft...needless to say im glad i didn't go for the backpack...here in southern indiana you best get permissions.. people take it so serious lol

Congratulations Owen, what a score. Here's a few tips to ensure many Morels in the future: 1) leave the babies to grow (and sporeuliate) 2) Use a basket with a loose weave when collecting so that the spores fall out and you spread them around the forest for next year; 3) Thank Mother Earth for the gift before you leave the forest.
