It's also like playing Pokémon Diamond or Pearl instead of Platinum in excitement for remakes that were actually pretty ok, but, not Platinum Version good. Back in 2021, I played through the main story of Pokémon Diamond in preparation for BDSP. Needless to say, it was actually FUN not having access to the Platinum dex. It felt refreshing to play an inferior game instead of the much better third version. In fact, it made me really appreciate BDSP more than if I didn't go back to Diamond. I feel like if matpat made his new channel about KZfaq videos then some of film theories views and content may go down since usually videos around KZfaq stuff preform best due to people on KZfaq being more likely to be interested in content to do with KZfaq while theories to do with films kinda rely on people having watched the film or know about it (obviously there will be people who just like to watch matpat but for the most part people are less likely to be interested in random films. unlike food or game theories where everyone eats food and nerds and/or people on KZfaq tend to like games. So I doubt matpat would risk having film theory's content/views go down just for another channel
