These type of videos are the only ones I like to watch on this channel. I could care less about a virtual tour of a 500 million dollar estate, yet care more to hear the person’s story that’s actually able to afford the 500 million dollar estate. That’s what motivates me. Thanks for mentioning mentorship! My husband just got in to Techstars NYC & from what I can see they make a big deal of mentor match like it’s practically tinder & both have to swipe right. Can’t wait to see who they get. Thanks for sharing your day! It’s not only fascinating but also validating for me as my husband & I have both been putting in the grind for our careers all through our 20’s & now 30’s. It’s a lifestyle & mindset choice..you gotta be committed to the grind, heads down, & think strategically ten steps ahead at all times. Cheers.

Ryan is super successful. The question I ask as I watch - is he busy or effective. Running every day from meeting to meeting usually is not effective. I used to do that and was proud that each minute of the day was formally scheduled. I found a few things from this - I was less effective in the meetings because I didn’t have time to adequately prep. The biggest revelation was the impact to my team - I was often too busy to spend quality time with them and they often wouldn’t call me because they perceived I was too busy. Over the last few years I have worked to keep half of my day open - no scheduled meetings. This has allowed me to be more effective and a better leader. The results have been astonishing. Lots of books written about this very subject. Hope this helps someone.

This year is "the pivotal year" for me to do what I was called to do. I have to say yes more and not care about what others are doing and saying because it won't matter where I will be as I age. I don't want to be 75 years young and wonder why I just didn't do it when I could've. No excuse will save me. Glad to see your growth, and I look forward to more DITL.

MDLNY was our 'chill out' TV show back when the kids were little and we finally got them to bed. Then I started watching the vlogs from when you first started - have always loved the motivation, the energy and the structures. I made some changes in my own habits and routines and joined a gym just over a year ago. Still doing my regular job as a high school Deputy Principal (it pays the bills) whilst last month I pitched for a job that doesn't yet exist at a university - created a business case proposal that is 'in progress'. All the while, I'm building an online education business that is almost ready to go to market with client interest already. Oh and I'm about to start my doctorate in education as well. Thanks for doing these videos @MoreRyanSerhant
