But neither would ever call each other their god-given solace, the one he really needs, her reactions when he kisses her cheek, constantly reminding each other we love each other (we say it sometimes, but never as often as they do). If she had been skinny, they would've found a way to get the characters together. Just look at countless other shows Mark Gordon has made. Grey's Anatomy, The Rookie, Quantico. Look at other shows Jeff Davis has created, ex. Teen Wolf. They would've found a way to the two of them together if Garcia was thin. Alvarez was a replacement for Derek Morgan and getting with Garcia was a decision made only due to the backlash they got.

This friendship added so much. Like when Garcia got shot , every viewer was thinking about how Morgan was gonna react (amongst other things) . It kept us in the edge of our seat for a lot of reasons but the fact that this little built up closeness between them has grown before our eyes, when something happens to one of them it’s always a question of how the other will react. Especially when stuff happens to Garcia because most of us wanna see Morgan in protective mode when it comes to her . Although there’s no sign of them actually getting together, It’s cute when they get protective or worried about each other

The "Talk Dirty to Me" line and Garcia's "Oh Shit!" reaction is a classic scene. My favourite. J.J's expresion of "Oh Boy, You're in trouble now." and Morgan stuttering is hilarious.

I loved the Morgan/Garcia interactions for so many reasons. One thing that I found especially entertaining was that as serious as Hotchner was, almost all of the time, his seriousness didn’t stop these two from continuing to carry on the way that they always did.
