Vanessa was skating with another guy in France, don't know what happened to him. Morgan kept asking to skate with her, but her people said no! He practiced to get stronger, he was finally able to skate with her then the magic was created!

@@bjlucas51 Vanessa's skating partner before Morgan Cipres was Yannick Bonheur. Their partnership lasted for 2 years and ended in April 2010. Yannick then skated with another French pair skater for 1 year before retiring in 2011. Since 2012/13, Yannick has gone on to have a very successful international career skating in ice gala shows with his long-time partner Annette Dytrt

Morgan's fluidity was amazing back then and he was phenomenal with Vanessa. I miss him so much on the ice and I know Vanessa does too. My prayers are always with them both.

Morgan, these younger performances of you skating shows the dynamicyism of your artistry. Paired with Vanessa, you both are unstoppable. Fast forward 9 years with your partner in crime Vanessa James, you two have grown and seasoned together like a fine wine. You are the strength to her athleticism and fluidity on the ice.
