In this episode you will hear:
• Everything I say is Morgan’s opinion. It’s Morgan’s perspective. (6:24)
• Candidate Morgan is different now because I have such a depth of what actually happens in the halls of congress. (7:21)
• You have to convince all the other members about what you think. (8:58)
• I’ve had conversations where the individual on the other side of the table is like “I don’t want a border. I don’t care about laws on the border. Anybody that wants to come across and plant a flag has the right to do so.” Those conversations happen. (10:16)
• It’s not Morgan representing the entire country. It’s Morgan representing District 8. (13:10)
We create appropriations bills, and appropriations bills fund the government. (14:31)
• I’m doing every single day - as hard as I can - to move laws in order to protect the people of Texas. (32:53)
• We have a spending problem. The process itself works, if you realize you can’t spend more than you have. (33:58)
• Learning to be a congressional member. You have to understand your role. (57:26)
• It can get interesting on the committees. (61:16)
• I tried never to get hit in my blind spot. I tell my staff: “Don’t ever let me get caught off guard. I don’t want to embarrass the district.” (61:30)
• I want House Resolution 2, the Border Bill to come across from the senate. And I want this to be signed by the President, so we can enforce it. That’s primary goal #1. (65:22)
• [Melanie] Q: How long do you see yourself as a congressman? [Morgan] A: 3 terms. (66:17)
• They chose me, and I’m doing my absolute best to widen the road that those went before me paved. (68:25)
• After I leave - if somebody was to say anything about me, the response that I’d be honored to hear would be “I wish he was still here.” (70:12)-

Please do more podcasts with Morgan, he’s one of the few Politicians that can be trusted & believed. It’s very informative & helpful to learn how the sausage is made & if Morgan believes we’re on the right track, that’s giving a lot of us more hope then maybe a lot of us have. I know the slow moving in DC is the way our forefathers intended but it sure feels like we are quickly moving in the wrong direction Nationally & Internationally. Hope you guys maybe could do once a month Podcast with Morgan so he can tell us what is really going on since pretty much anything & everything on the News & Social Media is Propaganda. It’s really really hard nowadays to find the truth. Thank you for what you guys are doing & everything you’ve already done. The Luttrell Brothers must have the proudest parents in the world. It’s weird Fan Boying out at 42 years old, being a Father, Professional, Veteran, & being Christian but I am very worried about our Country, especially for my teenage sons & there are so few places to get the information & facts told straight with no twist or ideology added to what’s going on in our government. I doubt anyone will read this message but if someone does please consider doing annual Podcasts if not one a month maybe one every three months that are strictly on the topic of Morgan & Washington, DC. Thank you again. Please, God Bless America 🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸

I am in the 8th district and I very much appreciate this type of format for communication with voters. Long form sit down 'podcast' type format is very effective for overcoming the 'sound byte culture' that exists in America as a whole. It also provides a platform free of filters. Whether those filters are TV presenters/editors and/or some other type of 'reporter' trying to tell me what is most important or to try and paint a particular picture, to me those things are not welcome in my home. It's hard to hide when you are in a long form two hour long back and forth discussion with the whole thing being out there for people to see. Again, this should be standard fare for all people in public offices.

I am a 2nd generation American but my mother & father’s parents migrated from Ukraine. I’ve never been to Ukraine but since the Russian Invasion I have had a very strong instinct or connection to the Ukrainian People. But I am torn, of course I want Ukraine to Win, get all of its land back including Crimea, & be left alone as a Sovereign Nation but when I look at it realistically I don’t see anyway that could possibly happen unless NATO intervened which I think is highly unlikely. My second hope is for the Ukrainian People to stop dying & for Ukraine to stop being destroyed. I worry very much that the United States will do what it’s always has done since at least the Vietnam War. We will give a bunch of money & military equipment to help just enough to get millions of people killed & then back out & say it’s not our problem, Georgia, Libya, Nicaragua, Iran, Afghanistan, Iraqi Kurds, Etc, Etc, Etc, as just a few examples. Either we have to be all in & be willing to completely fund the Ukrainian Military, Government, & Subsidize the Citizens, until the desired Victory has been achieved which as of now no one has actually defined what Victory actually is or we need to immediately come to the Negotiating Table & Ukraine is going to have to give up a lot to Russia which I in no way want, but i believe that is eventually what is going to happen no matter what but only after Ukraine is Completely Destroyed & a Generation of Ukrainians is wiped out because the United States will find a new conflict it wants to play in & Ukraine will be abandoned & left in shambles with no help just like we did to Afghanistan & all the other Countries we go to “Help” & then abandon because it cost to much or the Political Winds blow in a different direction..

I like how straight to point Marcus is with his brother. No one's above being held to account with him!😂 Not even his twin! And if I'm honest, I don't like Morgan is talking differently. Feels like Washington D.C changes all the good ones by beating them down with their system. I'm sure it's complicated but we send these people there to change that system, not to conform to it. I'm sure he knows that but it's good to have someone like Marcus to check him on this new way of thinking.

Loved this interview. Hopefully there are more to follow. For so long I have felt like all politicians were corrupt, Morgan gives me hope.
