Jeff Durbin confronted a Mormon missionary outside of the Mormon temple in Mesa, Arizona, during the most recent 'Christmas Lights Celebration'. Pastor Jeff asks the missionary if he believes that he will become a god one day. The missionary said, "Yes". What follows is important for everyone to see.

A light bulb can't be ON and OFF at the same time, it must be one or the other. The problem with B/M and D&C has the problem where the lightbulb is on AND off at the same time creating so much confusion. For example: Who was tempted by Satan in the garden? The Bible tells us it was EVE that was tempted, which corresponds to 2 Nephi 2:18 “Wherefore, he said unto Eve, yea, even that old serpent, who is the devil, … Partake of the forbidden fruit …” But according to D&C 29:40, 41 Eve is not mentioned. We know Adam was NOT deceived because the New Testament gives us this info: 1 Timothy 2:14 It seems this contradiction would make anyone question the validity of the D&C book.

@@JuanLagunas0 Juan, I would just like you to know that the church you love oh so much hides many, many things from you. They teach compassion, but will not open their doors to the homeless during these cold winters? Because you plan to go on a mission, I will give you information that is directly going to affect you. Many missionaries get assaulted, mugged, and attacked during their missions. You would think that with that happening, their parents would be made aware of this happening. Do you know what actually happens? They are directly told to NEVER tell anyone what has actually happened on their mission. Why do all missionaries only send letters that are positive? I'll tell you why, because they are not allowed to send any information about the scary assaults they typically experience. They hide many, many things from you. One of the prophets once said that god told him humans will never touch the moon. As you know now, humans have indeed touched the moon. So tell me, why was he wrong? Is it that god lied to him? No, of course not. You know god would never lie right? So then, surely the lie was from the prophet. Another prophet said that african americans will never receive the same rights because god does not view them as human. Was this prophet correct? No, as we know, he was not. So why are we believing these prophets who claim they speak from god? To believe god has lied would be silly right? Of course the prophets were the liars. So then.... why is it "prophets" who have been proven by history to have lied about what god has told them, why is it that they are controlling what you are taught in church? How are you meant to know that any of what you have ever been taught in this church is true, when you are being taught this by a human - a human fully capable of lying to you. While your religion may not be fake, while your god may not be fake, there are many, many corrupt liars who exist in your religion who care more for money than they do for people. Did you hear that the church spent billions of dollars on an industrial facility, with tithing money? The reason why they've bought a military industrial facility is unknown, but the bigger quest is - "Why is that money not being spent on members? To help people in need? To do kind things, such as what the bible teachers?" Do not fully believe the people in your church, for they are man, and they are fully capable of lying. The devil disguised himself as a snake to trick Adam, an evil person can disguise themselves as a prophet, a bishop, or a church leader, and they can trick you.

Eh, missionaries are easy prey. As a seminary teacher I spend four years trying to get these young men to pay attention and get off their phones, and the truth is 95% couldn't care less about learning the gospel until about a month before their missions. That gives them about a month of seminary and three weeks of the MTC - where they only learn the most basic doctrines of the gospel- before they're sent out to be lambasted on youtube. I'd be a lot less fun for Jeff, but I'm also a lot more up for the challenge, so I'll take a swing at it. First, this is a super deep dive topic. Meaning the only place you can find it is not from the pulpit numerous times but from a funeral more than 150 years ago. We define our official doctrine as anything that is taught collectively and continually by the twelve apostles and first presidency. So our views on theosis wouldn't even be considered official doctrine. Having said that, just because something isn't official church doctrine doesn't make it false. I'm someone who wholeheartedly believes that we can becomes gods and my belief doesn't even come from Joseph Smith. It comes from the New Testament. Before you say that's impossible then explain C.S. Lewis. Was he not a Christian? He didn't need to read the Book of Mormon or study teachings of Joseph Smith to form his beliefs. What about the entire Eastern Orthodox church? They believe in theosis. Is that because of Joseph Smith? Do they need to repent? Are they not Christians? You see, this isn't a "Mormon" thing. Jeff asked the missionaries something like "do you not believe Jesus when he says ______?" Well, I can throw the same question back at Jeff... in Matthew 5:48 when Jesus commands His followers to be perfect even as their Father which is in heaven, the Greek for perfect does not mean "without sin" (thank goodness or we'd all be in big trouble) It means "complete/fully developed." Does Jeff not believe Christ? Does he not believe that God is all powerful? Or is it that God is all powerful just not all powerful enough to help His children become like Him? Why don't you believe Jesus, Jeff? How about John 10:34-36 which echoes of Psalm 82:6...Ye are gods...does Jeff not believe Christ there. Christ doesn't correct that statement by the way. He uses it to say listen, if you're gods for receiving his word than why do you call me blasphemous for saying I'm the Son of God? How about the voice from heaven at Jesus' baptism? How about Jesus talking to the Father on the cross? How about Jesus talking to the Father in Gethsemane? Isn't Jesus a god? isn't God the Father a god? Isn't that two beings? This is where Jeff has to do all sorts of mental gymnastics to make the scriptures work. "Jesus was there but not there...Jesus' will was to not suffer but Jesus' other will was that he does suffer....Jesus forsook Jesus on the cross..." hurts your head just to defend the concept of Jeff's version of monotheism. In other words, Jeff's view of what Christianity should be makes it so Jeff is left defending monotheism rather than the word of God. He has to ignore certain scriptures to make it all make sense. I don't. Here's my response to the scripture Jeff used: Christ is clearly alluding to the Ten Commandments which say that we are to have no other gods BEFORE Him. He could have just said there are no other gods so stop worshipping them. This scripture doesn't say there are no other gods, it's saying they're worshipping other gods before God and are breaking the commandment. I appreciate Jeff's heart, but if you want to have an actual discussion to see if there is any merit to another faith's beliefs, how about arranging an actual conversation with someone who has actually studied the topic at least as much as you rather than catching some 18 year old kid off guard at night with a question you know he hasn't prepared for? Is it really about helping Latter-day Saints or is it about getting the most likes and subscribes? If it's the latter, good on you. But if you sat down with me, I'd have three times as many scriptures from the Bible that'd make you feel this uncomfortable as you tried to explain them.

"I'm someone who wholeheartedly believes that we can becomes gods " Catholic teaching is consistent with scripture: _“The only-begotten Son of God, wanting to make us sharers in his divinity, assumed our nature, so that he, made man, might make men gods” (CCC 460)._ Restated, we become sharers in the divine nature. Articulates one Catholic website well: _The idea of sharing in the divine nature means we share what philosophers and theologians identify as God’s communicable attributes (goodness, holiness, and love) as opposed to his incommunicable ones (omniscience, omnipotence, omnipresence, and absolute simplicity). This participation in the divine nature is commonly referred to as theosis or divinization._ The same article says: _According to the original Greek of St. Athanasius, from which the Catechism quotes, the phrase, “that we might become God” is better translated as “that we might be deified.” The Greek word for “deified,” theopoiethomen, has the connotation of participation in rather than becoming God_

Right? It doesn't matter which faith you have as long as you keep the covenants you make. Remember, in the Book of Mormon, at one point the Nephites were worse off than the Lamanites. Why? Because the Lamanites never made any promises with God, and on top of that, they were never taught the true doctrine. On the other hand, the Nephites who actually made the covenants with God were disobeying, being prideful, allowing Satan into their lives, etc., etc.

There are lots of misconceptions of their church and people who make “exposing” videos are very hurtful and misleading. Everyone in their own church has a certain knowledge of the gospel and everyone is different. We’re all human after all, some people just know certain topics or facts better than others just like in anything else in life. that’s why in the lds church there is 2 elders serving together one is usually more experienced and the newer missionary can learn a few things from and grow. On a side note It’s a very courageous thing to take 2 years of your time to preach the gospel you believe in. if you want to have a productive discussion I suggest you don’t walk up with a camera and shame him for views, if you’re genuinely curious of what their gospel has to offer then just set up a time to meet up and they can talk with you here and there if you have any questions and if you’re willing to take the time to hear them out. @@MultiJejje Thank you for saying this. I commented this before I watched more videos of Jeff, and I found I disagree as well with this topic and how he approaches SOME people. He believes in predestination which says that God pre-orders who goes to hell and who gets eternal life; however, Jeff doesn't mention 2 Peter 3:9 which reads The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people's conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 AMPC It would be a contradiction of God's character, who is love, and a loving God doesn't send people to hell without a chance to repent. The opposite of predestination is free will, which says that God has given every man the choice to serve Him or not. Throughout a person's lifetime, God regularly gives a person the chance to come to Him and be free of their sin. God doesn't send anyone to hell who hasn't had their chance because, again, it is a start contraction of Who God is and what the Bible says about him. Another thing about Jeff is while I love that he is informed about beliefs of his target group (non-believers of Christ, or of the Bible that we have today), it seems he tries arguing people into believing and it doesn't, most times, work that way. Love should abound above all, not a good argument. Sometimes, there is a place to argue, but then another to just listen. Jeff, as much as I appreciate him, seems to argue with people instead of loving on them and winning them that way. How you say something can make all the difference instead of one shoving truth down people's throats. It is the goodness of God that wins people. No one wants to serve a God who you hear hell about all the time.

www.lds.org/ensign/1971/04/the-king-follett-sermon?lang=eng The King Follett Sermon, one of the classics of Church literature, was given by the Prophet Joseph Smith at the April 7, 1844, conference of the Church in Nauvoo, Illinois. Some twenty thousand Saints were assembled. The account of the talk noted that it was the funeral sermon for Elder King Follett, a close friend of the Prophet’s who had been killed in an accident on March 9. [...] I will go back to the beginning before the world was, to show what kind of a being God is. What sort of a being was God in the beginning? Open your ears and hear, all ye ends of the earth, for I am going to prove it to you by the Bible, and to tell you the designs of God in relation to the human race, and why He interferes with the affairs of man. *God himself was once as we are now, and is an exalted man, and sits enthroned in yonder heavens! That is the great secret.* If the veil were rent today, and the great God who holds this world in its orbit, and who upholds all worlds and all things by His power, was to make himself visible-I say, if you were to see him today, you would see him like a man in form-like yourselves in all the person, image, and very form as a man; for Adam was created in the very fashion, image and likeness of God, and received instruction from, and walked, talked and conversed with Him, as one man talks and communes with another. [...] Here, then, is eternal life-to know the only wise and true God; and *you have got to learn how to be gods yourselves,* and to be kings and priests to God, *the same as all gods have done before you,* namely, by going from one small degree to another, and from a small capacity to a great one; from grace to grace, from exaltation to exaltation, until you attain to the resurrection of the dead, and are able to dwell in everlasting burnings, and to sit in glory, as do those who sit enthroned in everlasting power. And I want you to know that God, in the last days, while certain individuals are proclaiming His name, is not trifling with you or me. [...] When you climb up a ladder, you must begin at the bottom, and ascend step by step, until you arrive at the top; and so it is with the principles of the gospel-you must begin with the first, and go on until you learn all the principles of exaltation. But it will be a great while after you have passed through the veil before you will have learned them. It is not all to be comprehended in this world; it will be a great work to learn our salvation and exaltation even beyond the grave. I suppose I am not allowed to go into an investigation of anything that is not contained in the Bible. If I do, I think there are so many over-wise men here that they would cry “treason” and put me to death. So I will go to the old Bible and turn commentator today. [...] *In the beginning, the head of the Gods called a council of the Gods; and they came together and concocted [prepared] a plan to create the world and people it.* When we begin to learn this way, we begin to learn the only true God, and what kind of a being we have got to worship. Having a knowledge of God, we begin to know how to approach Him, and how to ask so as to receive an answer. When we understand the character of God, and know how to come to Him, he begins to unfold the heavens to us, and to tell us all about it. When we are ready to come to him, he is ready to come to us. Now, I ask all who hear me, why the learned men who are preaching salvation, say that God created the heavens and the earth out of nothing? The reason is, that they are unlearned in the things of God, and have not the gift of the Holy Ghost; they account it blasphemy in any one to contradict their idea. If you tell them that God made the world out of something, they will call you a fool. /But I am learned, and know more than all the world put together./ The Holy Ghost does, anyhow, and he is within me, and comprehends more than all the world; and I will associate myself with him.

The Book of Mormon does not teach that there is more than one God. It also does not support polygamy. These beliefs were introduced by Brigham Young after Joseph Smith’s death. This was proven in a U.S. federal court on February 26th, 1880 in Lake County, Ohio. The court ruled that the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was the legal continuation of the church established on April 6th, 1830. The Bible is clear that all people are God’s creation (Colossians 1:16), and that God loves the entire world (John 3:16), but only those who are born again are children of God (John 1:12; 11:52; Romans 8:16; 1 John 3:1-10). In Scripture, the lost are never referred to as God’s children. Ephesians 2:3 tells us that before we were saved we were “by nature children of wrath” (Ephesians 2:1-3). Romans 9:8 says that “it is not the natural children who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring.” Instead of being born as God’s children, we are born in sin, which separates us from God and aligns us with Satan as God’s enemy (James 4:4; 1 John 3:8). Jesus said, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me” (John 8:42). Then a few verses later in John 8:44, Jesus told the Pharisees that they “belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desire.” The fact that those who are not saved are not children of God is also seen in 1 John 3:10: “This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother.” We become God’s children when we are saved because we are adopted into God’s family through our relationship with Jesus Christ (Galatians 4:5-6; Ephesians 1:5). This can be clearly seen in verses like Romans 8:14-17: “…because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, ‘Abba, Father.’ The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now IF we are children, then we are heirs-heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.” Those who are saved are children “of God through faith in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:26) because God has “predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will” (Ephesians 1:5).

One day, a student walked up and said, "Do you know the Bible well?" "I know it better than anything!" The student said, " Then, can you quote 2 Timothy 2:24-25?" The preacher admitted he didn't have all of it memorized and pulled out his Bible and began to read it aloud: "And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness..." The preacher realized he was being hypocritical by yelling at everyone else for not knowing the Bible. He actually apologized and thanked the student. It was amazing to see. 😊

@@realitywins6457 reading it over. Could it be that Jesus Christ is applying this to himself as the Son of God? That God has had no Son before, nor any Son after? That the distinct role of Savior belongs alone to Jesus Christ? In the context of our world and our salvation as His children? I mean if you keep reading it doesn’t get into big picture rather it talks about the small details of their day, of Babylon. Are there not many gods and idols to worship at this time? So Jesus Christ reiterated His position as the only Son of God now or ever? Was he applying this to the whole universe and galaxy or to us?? If we apply it to the whole galaxy are we not adding scriptures to the prophecy? Honestly curious. Because in this scripture it is all historically speaking of the Israelites falling away from the one true Son of God. This is important because they were seeking a Savior? A messianic religious ruler? To this day actually. But Jesus defines himself as that Savior. The one and only. To take this scripture and then interpret it for your own points. To say. See Jesus said there has been no Gods before me, or will there be after and to completely ignore the context and fill it in with your own seems to make one guilty of the sin they are accusing this missionary of. Wow... I never knew this. This man believes he will become a God someday? I was not taught this while I was growing up, and I am so glad. I am glad there is a simple way to Heaven. Believing in Christ and what he did for mankind. The tricky part is sticking to your convictions, and deny yourself, picking up your cross and following Jesus... even through the hard times. I believe it is during our hardships we grow the most through the Lord.

Thank you for this video. I grew up in a ‘strict’ Mormon family. (My uncle still holds the priesthood here in UT). ‘Strict’ meaning they drank caffeine and didn’t follow the sacrament. They excommunicate everyone in the family that disagrees with them. I grew up singing “families can be together forever…”; they were very hypocritical. And it totally ruined religion for me. (The Book of Mormon was crazy enough too; I was forced to take seminary and young women’s). My mom and I were excommunicated from the family; look up David Ragsdale UT shooting. That was my other uncle and it split our family apart. I lost sense of myself and religion. It wasn’t until 2020; when my mother died that my relationship has grown. I’m a Christian now and this channel has helped me grow . So again, thank you ❤

@@masondavies905 We were never excommunicated from the church. However, we were excommunicated from the family. Because... My uncle shot and killed his wife in an LDS parking lot. Him and his wife had two young boys at the time. There was a huge custody battle between my family and the wife's family. My mother knew my family was too mentally ill to take care of them and how she put it: "We already took away their daughter, now we're going to take away the boys?". She went to the wife's family lawyer and basically told them we were incapable of raising them, etc. Well, my family didn't like how she went 'behind their backs'. So long story short, they haven't communicated with us really since 2009. I'm thankful however. After my mom passed I talked to the mother of the wife (she has custody). She thanked me for what my mother had done, and told me to stay away from my family. She is the sweetest Christian woman I have met, and I'm thankful the boys have her. 🙏

You can't feel love when you don't have the love of Christ inside you. Your own organization teaches the Trinity through the books you believe: 2 Nephi 31:21 Alma 11:44 D&C 20:28 And yet, your organization will deny the Trinity because they don't seriously believe these books, only what the leaders of LDS will say despite contradictions. Here are more contradictions: D&C 75:25 _"Behold, I say unto you, that _*_it is the duty of the church_*_ to assist in supporting the families of those, and also to support the families of those who are called and must needs be sent unto the world to proclaim the gospel unto the world."_ Is ANY money (not how much) given to EACH family for the boys to spend 2 YEARS proclaiming the gospel unto the world? I know for a FACT (not opinion) that the church spends ZERO money and the family must raise *ALL* the funds on their own. In order to just "ASSIST IN SUPPORTING" these families, each boy should receive at LEAST $6,000 a YEAR or $12,000 for the 2-year duration of their service from LD$ with global funding to be a minumum of $8 million a year. This contradiction, not with the Bible, but LD$ published books that Mormons regard as true. Where there is smoke ... there is fire and many other contradictions can be easily reviewed. We can finally say with valid confidence that contradictions in the books of Mormonism do exists and these should be carefully examined by anyone seeking TRUTH to know that LD$ is not a true organization.

The Jews sought to condemn and kill Christ because he claimed to be the Son of God. To claim he was the Son, made him equal with God, because it meant he would be an heir to God. Everyone from every religion gets questions that require further research and understanding. Everyone gets stumped when I ask certain questions about their faith. I’m convinced that there’s no religion on Earth that has every perfect answer, so it’s really nothing to get cocky about. I mean, they just turned around and stormed off my property. It was very, very strange. I never once said a bad word to them about their beliefs, and I never raised my voice (I dislike angry people), but I couldn't just nod my head and agree with something I know is unfounded by Bible teachings. About two years later, two female missionaries came to my house, but they were so happy to see what I was showing them from their own Bibles that they were literally crying happy tears. "Wow!" was the exclamation they kept using. After about an hour, they asked me not to cut the conversation short so I could attend a funeral! They were so happy when they left. I was happy, too. The next time I saw them, they refused to acknowledge or speak to me. That hurt. I assume they took what they were learning to their superiors, who put a stop to it. I hope they're both okay. We have a contradiction between the BoM and LDS. There are contradictions between the BoM and D&C as well. It comes down to which one is right and which is wrong. Which book is true and which is false. That is how contradictions work and the reason why LDS fails.

Jesus seals up vision and prophecy [Daniel 9:24]. This verse shows Muhammad and your buddy’s prophet Joey Smith false. These wolves in sheep’s clothes are blatantly shown wicked by their fruit. If anyone still prophesies, his own parents will stab him. Cf. Zechariah 13:3-4. The Mormon view repudiates the finished work of Christ. God now sends his messengers to the churches, as there could not be prophets. I.e. Revelation 2 & 3. Joseph Smith received revelation that the garden of Eden is actually in St. Louis Missouri. Anyone believing that ol’ Joey is a prophet is mentally deficient.

Romans 10:9 “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” To summarize, YOU WILL BE SAVED! That is, if you do not believe, you will be humbled (not proud). Are we gullible stooges for believing in Easter? If Islam is true, (Surah 4:157-58) why would Allah fake Jesus’s cruxifixction and intentionally deceive people for six hundred years, only to later reveal this to Muhammad? Truly silly. Satan is the greatest of deceivers, not God. (Surah 3:54) If Muhammad was not illiterate, he would have read the secular historical accounts of Christ’s crucifixion written by Jesus’s contemporaries. Anyone today, can still find these discoverable documents. Lucian of Samasata was a sarcastic atheist who verified his public crucifixion, a fact confirmed by the Babylonian Talmud. Jesus’s public crucifixion was also confirmed by neutral parties such as Tacitus, Josephus and Pliny, not to mention the many others who loved and followed him. His death and resurrection defines who we are in God and distinctly separates us as proud believers of what he did for us. I’m not sure how anyone could believe in someone that received divine revelation, that the sun sets in a pool of muddy water? Q18:86

@A Proud Believer if “Islam is truth,” as you claim, why have you not responded? As originally stated, Daniel 9:24 provides a specific Time-Text, for precisely when “all vision and prophecy” was “sealed.” I.e. More than two thousand years ago. As Jesus is the Messiah or the Christ; our Lord fulfills Daniel’s prophetic mission statement of the “Anointed One.” This verse clearly shows that anyone since fulfillment, [two thousand years] claiming to be a prophet, false.

What kind of a god demands that you murder animals and your own children as "worship"? You reply: Oh, that was the Old Testament, we only take seriously the parts of the bible we enjoy, such as hating gays and ignoring logic. Jesus said " I AM HERE TO UPHOLD THE LAW, NOT TO OVERTURN IT" So you are required to take every word of the insanity of Leviticus LITERALLY. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aamAnbqVmbO5iKc.html x If you are flawed / sinful, whose fault is that? YOURS or the god that deliberately made you that way? Oh, you had a choice to be sinful or not? WHY would a god set up a trap like that in the first place? How is that loving or rational? As a parent of your children, do you put out candy, hide, and if they eat the candy you told them not to eat, do you jump out of hiding and BEAT the shit out of your kids? Your god is pretty enthusiastic about judgement, threats and punishments. You must enjoy that very much, judging and condemning others every day, as if you were a god. x Why should you be "tested"? GOD MADE YOU so if you're flawed, that is the fault of GOD, who could have simply made you perfect to begin with. x If there is suffering, who created it but god, who invented and controls EVERYTHING? Why would you respect, obey or worship a cruel sadist? x Why would god set humanity up to fail>? IF god is INFALLIBLE, what is the logical explanation for god's creation of EVIL / satan / sin? If humanity is too imperfect to understand these questions,, then how are YOU so perfect that you can write / interpret a book or invent a church or preach and arrogantly claim to speak for god? x Why would an all powerful god bother to use books, churches, messengers, signs, angels, prophets, threats, punishments and other bull when it could simply SPEAK DIRECTLY and unambiguously directly to every person? Isn't it a LOT more likely that religion is a con game scam invented to manipulate desperate and weak minded people? A DRUG for the weak and desperate and stupid. A tool for the spiteful and judgmental. An easy way to make money for the con man. That is religion. x If you are too stupid to understand the bible and need a church to explain it to you, HOW are you smart enough to know which of the thousands of churches and books is real? FEELINGS are not facts, they're subjective whims. If Christ is so peaceful, why are there literally DOZENS of churches that have MURDERED and TORTURED and PERSECUTED each other in his name for CENTURIES of religious WARS? Why are there literally HUNDREDS of versions of this "perfect" book, and why have so many christians tortured and executed non christians for centuries? x Oh YOU are so perfect and pure that jesus speaks directly and only to you..........right mister church man? No. There is no santa claus, easter bunny, jehova, buddha, allah, jesus or Ronald McDonald. x The only thing that produces good things in life is OBJECTIVE REASON: SCIENCE AND RATIONALITY, not ghost stories. x x Oh, "god is everywhere?" Then why do I have to come to your stupid building to see god? Oh, "god loves everyone"? Then why in church do you baptists and catholics and other psychotics yell at people, tell them that they are "sinful" and threaten them with hell? I think that's called bullying, not loving. Oh, "salvation is free"? Then why do churches like the mormons and catholics and evangelical TV creeps constantly strongarm people to give huge amounts of money? x kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aamAnbqVmbO5iKc.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aamAnbqVmbO5iKc.html Only Objective REASON and LOGIC deserve your respect\ Why allow anyone to TRAIN you to bow down like a dog or a slave or a robot? NO. it was LOGIC and REASON that created this thing you are using, NOT GOD. REASON and Logic and SCIENCE should not be used to spew this superstitious bullshit. Think about it. It’s funny how the LDS church will punish members for reading “anti-Mormon” literature. As Christians we encourage people to read any and all holy books or otherwise anti-Bible material knowing that with God’s wisdom and a genuine willingness to know the truth, people will always find their way to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ that way.

*Restoring Biblical Truth:* John the Baptist referred to Christ as a man: “This is he of whom I said, After me cometh *_A MAN_* which is preferred before me: for he was before me” (John 1:30). The apostles referred to Christ as a man after his ascension into heaven: “Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, *_A MAN_* approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know” (Acts 2:22). “Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by *_THAT MAN_* whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead” (Acts 17:31). “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, *_THE MAN_* Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5). “For *_THIS MAN_* was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honor than the house” (Hebrews 3:3). “But *_THIS MAN,_* because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood” (Hebrews 7:24). “For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that *_THIS MAN_* have somewhat also to offer” (Hebrews 8:3). “But *_THIS MAN,_* after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God” (Hebrews 10:12). We also read in Philippians 2:8-9 that Christ was “found in fashion as *_A MAN”_* and that God *_“EXALTED HIM.”_* The Prophet Joseph Smith said, “God himself, the Father of us all, dwelt on an earth, the same as Jesus Christ himself did.” Jesus Christ himself said: “The Son can do nothing of himself but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. For the Father loveth the Son and sheweth him all things that himself doeth” (John 5:19-20). You might want to read that again. Christ clearly stated that he cannot do anything unless the Father has already done the same thing, and Christ stated that his Father showed him “all things” that he, the Father, has done, which means our Heavenly Father “dwelt on an earth, the same as Jesus Christ himself did.” And since Jesus Christ was in the “form of God,” when he took upon him flesh to become a man, and was then “exalted” to sit down at the right hand of the Father, then God is clearly a MAN who is “exalted.” The Biblical scriptures cited above prove without a doubt that: “God himself was once as we are now and is an exalted man . . . . God himself, the Father of us all, dwelt on an earth, the same as Jesus Christ himself did” (Joseph Smith, the King Follett Discourse, April 1844). Joseph Smith never said or implied that God was at one time “sinful.” Joseph Smith said that our Heavenly Father “dwelt on an earth, the same as Jesus Christ himself did,” and we know Jesus Christ led a sinless life so that, as the Son of God, he could atone for the sins of man. Christ was once as we are now. He was “perfected” on the “third day” (Luke 13:32) and rose from the dead with a glorified celestial body. He is now seated in heaven at the right hand of the Father. Our Heavenly Father did what Jesus Christ did, and our Heavenly Father led a sinless life when he dwelt on an earth. Yes, all the Biblical scriptures cited above tell us that “God himself was once as we are now and is an exalted man.” If you skipped reading any of them, go back and read them all. It is, after all, the Bible. And 1 Peter 5:6 states: “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God that he may *_EXALT YOU_* in due time.” *The Restored Gospel Clearly says Jesus Christ led a Sinless Life* Joseph Smith stated that Jesus Christ “had no need of repentance, *_having no sin,_* according to his solemn declaration to John:-now let me be baptized: for no man can enter the kingdom without obeying this ordinance: for thus it becometh us to fulfil ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS.” The Book of Mormon states: “And now, if the Lamb of God, *_he being holy,_* should have need to be baptized by water to fulfil all righteousness, O then, how much more need have we, being unholy, to be baptized, yea, even by water” (2 Nephi 31:5). The Book of Mormon also states that Christ “suffereth temptation, and *_yieldeth not to the temptation,_* but suffereth himself to be mocked, and scourged, and cast out, and disowned by his people” (Mosiah 15:5). “Wherefore, redemption cometh in and through the *_Holy Messiah;_* for he is *_full of grace and truth”_* (2 Nephi 2:6). In a revelation through the Prophet Joseph Smith, Christ said: “Listen to him who is the advocate with the Father, who is pleading your cause before him- “Saying: Father, behold the *_sufferings and death of him who did no sin,_* in whom thou wast well pleased; behold the blood of thy Son which was shed, the blood of him whom thou gavest that thyself might be glorified; “Wherefore, Father, spare these my brethren that believe on my name, that they may come unto me and have everlasting life” (Doctrine and Covenants 45:3-5). The Doctrine and Covenants also states: “Wherefore, the Almighty God gave his Only Begotten Son, as it is written in those scriptures which have been given of him. *_“He suffered temptations but gave no heed unto them._* “He was crucified, died, and rose again the third day; “And ascended into heaven, to sit down on the right hand of the Father, to reign with almighty power according to the will of the Father” (Doctrine and Covenants 20:21-24). Among statements by the prophets and apostles that have led the Church are these: “If it were not for the perfect, *_sinless_* life of the Savior, which He willingly laid down for us, there could be no remission of sins.” “With His divine sonship, His *_sinless_* life, the shedding of His blood in the Garden of Gethsemane, His excruciating death on the cross and subsequent bodily Resurrection from the grave, He became the author of our salvation and made a perfect Atonement for all mankind.” “Were it not for the blessed gifts of repentance and forgiveness this would be a hopeless situation for man, since no one except the Master has ever lived *_sinless_* on the earth.” “I speak of Mary of Nazareth, espoused to Joseph, destined to become the mother of the only *_sinless_* man to walk the earth.” “To the duty designated by his Father, he turned his face, pledged his heart, and gave his life. And what a *_sinless,_* selfless, noble, and divine life it was. Jesus labored. Jesus loved. Jesus served. Jesus wept. Jesus healed. Jesus taught. Jesus testified.” “We knew we would sin and make mistakes-perhaps even serious ones. But we also knew that our Savior, Jesus Christ, had pledged to come to earth, live a *_sinless_* life, and voluntarily lay down His life in an eternal sacrifice.” In “The Living Christ,” which was signed by the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles on January 1, 2000, it states, “Though *_sinless,_* He was baptized to fulfill all righteousness.” Joseph Smith’s translation of Hebrews 7:26 reads: “And not as those high priests who offered up sacrifice daily, first for their own sins, and then for the sins of the people; *_for he needeth not offer sacrifice for his own sins, for he knew no sins;_* but for the sins of the people. And this he did once, when he offered up himself.” The incorrect translation of Hebrews 7:26 in the King James Bible states that Christ has committed sin. It reads: “Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, *_first for his own sins,_* and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.” The definition of Atonement in the LDS Bible Dictionary reads in part: “Jesus Christ, as the Only Begotten Son of God and *_the only sinless person_* to live on this earth, was the only one capable of making an atonement for mankind. By His selection and foreordination in the Grand Council before the world was formed, His divine Sonship, *_His sinless life,_* the shedding of His blood in the garden of Gethsemane, His death on the cross and subsequent bodily resurrection from the grave, He made a perfect atonement for all mankind.” And there is the definition of Christ in the LDS Bible Dictionary, which reads in part: “He was born of Mary at Bethlehem, *_lived a sinless life,_* and wrought out a perfect atonement for all mankind by the shedding of His blood and His death on the cross.” Yes, God is an EXALTED MAN who led a sinless life during his mortal ministry so that he could atone for our sins. Jesus Christ has restored his true doctrine in these latter days, and it all begins with reading the Book of Mormon. Contact The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the missionaries will bring you a free copy of the Book of Mormon.

You see, You can't pick and choose what scriptures you want to believe to build a man made practice upon. The spiritual TRUTH is one that most are afraid of and turn away from. Looking their thoughts and understanding to MAN and not unto YAH. The Mormon teachings, just as Christians, Jehovah's witnesses, Catholic, and all religion has placed a muzzle over the true spirit of the FATHER and went into teaching blasphemies. False prophets are at Large and most are cultured by religion. Man takes for himself his own life and teachings, being not of the FATHER in heaven. I say this sure to one fact, that nowhere in a Bible does it say to be associated, nor label yourself by a religious belief. But only to become a Child of GOD. When we all stop arguing RELIGION and put the one True GOD in our frontal, then and only then will the understanding of CHRIST or Lord be manifested in the body. Take another look at what the church is and the word of GOD. You'll be elated, only if you mean righteous intent to sell TRUTH and examine oneself.

For those who think that members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints do not believe in Christ or the Bible could not be further from the truth. Many Mormons have a personal relationship with their Heavenly Father and a very strong testimony to the truth and what they preach. They also do not judge other religions and are very forgiving. However, some fanatical Christian churches do judge and condemn members of the church of Jesus Christ. I wonder then if that is the pure love of Christ?

Mormons are not Christians because they reject so much about Jesus Christ. They also reject being "born again" which Jesus Himself requires in John 3:3 Jesus was not created, but endures forever as we can see in D&C 20:28 or Mormon 7:7 You wrote: _"Mormons have a personal relationship with their Heavenly Father"_ Christians have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as HE is the only way to the Father. (John 14:5-14) The pure love of Christ is not being part of the WORLD but being adopted in the family of Christ. When you are worried about the world you love the world, not Jesus.
